Event's only - payment questions

Help! I've read a post that our next payment is due 7/1. I sent in our deposit check for the events only, which has been cashed, but I haven't received any confirmation/next payment information. Where do I send the 7/1 payment, and do I need to send in the full outstanding amount by 7/1? Thanks!

The 7/1 payment is for the hotel packages. I don't know anything about the event only payments. Sorry if I worried you!

I'm in the same situation as you Peggy Sue. As of today, I have yet to receive a confirmation of my money-order Events Only deposit. I would really like to get a confirmation on the deposit before I send in the full payment. My DH is getting on my case about it!

Hi Snowwark,

I know how you feel... it's been four months now and while I am sure everything is fine I would really like to know... especially with the packages opening up again on Friday.

Like you I sent a money order so I don't have even a cancelled check to be sure that my payment made it.

Would someone maybe even consider posting a list somewhere for those of us who still don't know if their application has been confirmed? I know snail mail confirmations are coming but even a little list? Please? *small smile*

I'm just scared that my payment has not been recieved and if that is that case I want to fix it... fast! Before it is opened up to others... oh uggg. I am going on...

A friend who I have been telling all the details of this trip to said something today that made me feel odd... she said... well, maybe they are waiting to confirm your events only thingy until they have sold all their hotel rooms with packages and are waiting to see if they have any left! I told her that would never happen here! But now I would really feel better with some word...

It will all be good I am sure... I know Pete and Linda will make it work... *grins*

I think we can all relax...I just went back to check out my e-mail confirmation when I registered on-line for events only (not a confirmation of payment - this was the confirmation that told you where to send your down payment) the e-mail states:

"A deposit of $50 is required in order to hold your reservation, with the balance due no later than October 1st."

So unless something has changed, I think the 7/1 payment date is for the total package folks only. OK..I'll relax now! (See...I knew there was I reason I hang onto old e-mail!)

Dear Mary:

Your event only registration has been received. You have indicated that you would like 4 adult passes and 0 child passes.
The total cost for the event only registration is $916.00. A deposit of $50 is required in order to hold your reservation, with the balance
due no later than October 1st. Details of the various events and intineraries will be sent out through out the year.

That is the official response when I registered back in February. I am eagerly awaiting a confirmation but since my check was cashed, I'm taking that as my confirmation. I'm sure Pete and Linda are busy with the next payments due on the hotel and event attendees, so I'm guessing we should hear something after July 1st. At least I hope so!

Have all of you 'events-only' folk gotton your e-mail confirmations yet?

I read in another post from Pete that he was going to send them out 'around' this weekend.

If you have NOT gotton it yet, don't panic.....weekends are never the best time to do 'business' and I know Pete has his own concerns with his father's recent surgery....PLUS it IS Father's Day today.

I am looking forward to the time that everyone who is concerned about their confirmations has their confirmations....I remember how relieved I was when I received first the e-mail and then the snail mail confirmation......whew!!!

I spent about an hour looking for the recipt from my money order yesterday since I can't look for a cancelled cheque. I can't find it!

I'll look at my office in the morning, I really hope it's there. No panic for now... but I am going to allow myself to panic on Thursday! *nervouslaugh*

I have heard from Linda that my payment has been received. She has apologized for it taking this long but Pete is very busy with his dad who is not doing well after surgery. She is going to do her best to let us all know. My suggestion would be to e-mail her and she will get back to you.
