Event for FWRR train fans...

Yes, Tony, I was looking for you! I was hoping you would make it to the CP Room on Saturday. I was so busy with the layout, the only other event I made it to was the Thursday night dinner. Funny, there was a guy named Tony sitting across the table from me, and he said he was from St. Pete. So I started talking about your photos, and he thought I was crazy!

Will you be at the Fort for Halloween? I plan to have the layout at a premium site to give out candy. :mickeybar

I met this other Tony, but didn't realize he was from St. Pete. Your layout looked awesome in the CP room. I don't see a FW trip this month. Maybe a day trip is possible. Once you are set up, let me know which site you're on in case we can make it over. I really want to see your setup.

I thought I would post the links to a couple of albums of pictures. One is from the Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour, and a couple from the meeting we had at the Allstar later that day. The other is a few photos I took during the Marceline tour we took. That tour was on Oct. 1st which was of course the big 40th Anniversary day for MK, so some photos are from events related to that.

Tony, great photos as usual!

Hope you can make it over Halloween weekend. I plan on showing the trains Sunday and Monday late afternoon into the night, probably 4-9PM, weather permitting. (Still waiting to hear when the golf cart parade is being held!) We check in on Saturday so I'll probably get to post our site number here on Saturday night.

Why don't you drive over Sunday if you can! :drive:

I would love to come over. We have plans that will make it impossible that day. Have a good time!!!

FWRR3 I am one part of one of the couples from Canada ( Toronto) the other couple is from out west. We did meet but not for very long.

Bama_Ed the walk on Sunday started out at Pioneer Hall and then started down the tracks by the Bus Depot. We then went towards the 400 loop and made it back into the into the bush on the other side of the 700 loop. From there we went to the Meadows and up towards the Outpost. Then over to the 1500-1700 loops. This is where those who really wanted to bush wack went in and the rest of us stayed on the road. After this we all went our own way. Total walk was about 3 hrs. Dave Leaphart lead the way with help of some of the ex - Fort Wildnerss train drivers. Great walk, look forward to doing it again next year
