Evening Plan at Epcot

We'll be visiting Epcot on Monday, November 27th and I'm looking for some advice on our evening plan. We'll be visiting Future World during the morning and then returning to our resort(Wyndham Bonne Creek) for a break. I plan on returning around 6 pm and seeing Illuminations at 9pm. My question, we'd like to park at HS and re enter Epcot via the International Gateway. Does this make sense to do? We'd, ideally, like to take the boat boats back to parking lot at HS. I'm just curious as to what sort of crowds I can expect after Illuminations returning to HS. Also, where would be a good spot to watch Illuminations that would allow us easy access to the boats? Thank you for any suggestion.

Personally, I would have dinner at one of the resorts like Boardwalk. Then, you can park your car there and ride the boat to the International Gateway from the resort.

Right after France there is a bridge. That's where I would view Illuminations. It's a short walk from the gateway.

Be sure to check DHS closing time AND ask about the boat schedule when you do this, if you’re counting on riding the boat back after Illuminations. If DHS closes earlier than Epcot, the last boat that goes all the way from Epcot to DHS might leave Epcot too early for you to watch Illuminations. If you’re ok walking the mile from IG to DHS, no worries.

We were there earlier this month when DHS closed at 8 and Epcot at 9, with Illuminations starting at 9. We asked and were told the last boat would leave Epcot at 9.

Only if you have an ADR for one of the BW restaurants. Parking is pretty limited and supposed to be reserved for people staying at BW Resort or dining on the BW.
