Evening Parking at the Parks

My family enjoys driving to the parks from our on site resort. We usually take an afternoon break and return to the park between 5 and 6. However, at this time the parking attendant always directs us to the back of the lot or the last row of parked cars. Is there any way to get a spot up closer? We always see a ton of them.
