Evening Extra Magic Hour Question

My family will be at Disney in February - there are 21 of us. My mom and dad want to meet at Magic Kingdom on Sunday for dinner and to watch the Spectromagic Parade and Wishes together. Afterwards, some of us want to go to MGM for the Evening EMH. It will be very difficult to go over to MGM between 6:30 and closing to obtain the wristbands. Will they allow us to still enter the park about 9:45 p.m. with our resort ID & ticket, or do we have to already be inside the park by closing?

Also, could one person go with all of our ID's and tickets to get the wristbands or does every person have to be present?

As I recall, the stations were set up within the park, so I don't think you'll be able to give all of the passes to one person and have them obtain your wristbands. I'm sorry, but I don't remember how long the wristband stations were open, but I would expect that wristbands will remain available until close to the time the parks close.

Somebody asked about this on another thread and was told that they could enter the park right up until the end of EMH. You have to present your resort ID or whatever personally at the turnstyles on the way in to get your wristbands.

So if the EMH at MGM are from 8:30 - 11:30 and we can't get there til around 9:30, we should still be able to get in and then go get our wristbands?

I would assume if you enter after reqular closing time, they will give you a wristband at the gate upon entering.
