Evening Extra hour ?

Can someone explain the evening extra hour to me please? I am staying at the Caribbean next week.
If Magic Kingdom's regular operating hours on Wednesday March 30 are 8 am to midnight and that particular day has the am and pm extra hour do I get to be there and ride the designated rides until 3am?

Welcome to the DIS board, Jester! If you are going to be there March 30th, try to take advantage of MK's extra morning hour EVERY DAY through April 2nd. They open at 7 a.m. for resort guests. We went the past two days and were able to get so much done in the morning before we went to another park in the afternoon. We went back to the park in the evenings, and it was just crazy.

3AM ! That is insane I can't even imagine being there that late. I'll take full advantage of these extra hours.
