Will be visiting in July with four grandchildred, girls 13, 14 (twins) and 14 boy. I remember staying at Port Orleans one summer and listening to the Rock and Roll Piano. Are there any other places where I can take the kids and be entertained while indulging in an adult beferage? After a long day in parks it will be nice to relax with a cold frosty one. We will be staying at OKW for five days.

Epcot often has live bands playing into the evening & you can get a glass of wine or something from one of the stands.

Now that the Adventurer's Club is gone, I don't know where else.

Luckily we will be staying in OKW and will have a kitchen. Hope there is enough room for one or two adult beverages amongst the kid's juices.

I'm pretty sure all of the deluxe hotels have bars. I'm not sure about the entertainment. Also, you can get sangria and walk around the Boardwalk & there is always entertainment there.

I will take a look and see if Port Orleans still has the Rock and Roll Piano. That was fun for the family.

I agree about heading over to the World Showcase at Epcot. You willhave a nice variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from (I love the Beer in Germany), you can stroll around or sit and relax, and the kids will get to enjoy the wide variety of entertainment offered around the different countries-lots of cool live music, traditional dancing, skits, etc...

Epcot at night is perfect for teenagers and adults as well.

Port Orleans Riverside has Bob Jackson performing throughout the week. He does an audience participation show which is great (see http://www.yehaabob.com/)

Port Orleans French Quarter has a one-man jazz show that plays throughout the week as well.

Both shows take place in the bar area so adult beverages are available.

Thanks for everyone offering their observations. I will definitely check out each and every one of them. After all I have a whole week there to look.

That guy who plays at POFQ is really good. We listened to him a couple of times during our last stay there. He plays right there in the main lobby of POFQ, right next to the bar (near the food court), in the evenings, I believe. He sings, plays the keyboard, and saxaphone also. I'll say it again, he's really good!

POR is a relaxing boat ride away from Downtown Disney. There are many shops there that my kids find entertaining. The House of Blues and Raglan Road at Downtown Disney may have shows you'd be interested in.
