Do you have to be inside the park before the start of EMH or can you arrive any time up to the end of EMH?

When I was in Orlando (two weeks ago) they were giving out the EMH wristbands about 2 hours before the park was due to close at locations throughout the park.

When I was in Orlando (two weeks ago) they were giving out the EMH wristbands about 2 hours before the park was due to close at locations throughout the park.

That will suit us for most evenings we plan to take advantage of EMH, but I'm wondering whether guests have to be in the park before normal park closing time.

So, if MK has normal closing at 10:00pm and EMH from 10:00pm to 1:00am, could we get into the park at 11:30pm?
