After hearing all the reviews, I wondered if evening EMH was at all worth it for our party (me and DBF, 21 and 22, going in January). I started to think, maybe some of the disappointment in the evening hours is in how we've groomed ourselves to think of EMH. Yeah, it'd be great if it was a time to ride the rides with no lines. Heck, I'm sure going to take advantage of mornings for that reason! but maybe with the evening ones, you're better off looking at it as a chance to experience the parks after dark, which some of us off-season travelers wouldn't have the chance to do otherwise. This is our plan, with that in mind. I think I want to pick out one or two rides I'd really like to experience at night (ToT, BTMRR for example) and make those our "must-do" rides for the evening, even if there is a line as big as there was at 2 in the afternoon. Everything else will just be gravy. Instead, we'll get the ambiance of the park at night and maybe a couple of rides. It's got to be better than the "I've only got 2 more hours of EMH and I'm supposed to do every ride because it's EMH and there aren't supposed to be lines!" mentality. So I think we'll try them... if we're not having fun, we'll go to a nightspot or back to the hotel. Does this make sense, or am I being too optimistic?

I would think in January you will find EMH a great way to lengthen your day. The park hours are pretty short in January. With the crowds already being a bit lower, I think EMH should be fine.
