How does evening EMH work at Epcot? If Future World closes at 7:00, but World Showcase closes at 9:00, how late does the whole park stay open? Is Future World only open until 10:00 or are all included attractions open until midnight?

The confusion is about the closing time for Future World. Although it "officially" closes at 7pm, most of the popular attractions like Test Track, Soarin', Mission: Space, Spaceship Earth, and maybe a few others remain open until World Showcase closes (normally at 9pm). So at the closing time of WS the evening EMH begins and runs for the next three hours at Epcot. For what is opened check out the info on allearsnet.com.

I was confussed about this same issue (just got back from a trip). This is how it was for me when I was in the park two weeks ago. Future World Closes at 7:00 and WS at 9:00. However, on days with EMH, BOTH parts of the park stay open until Midnight. However, after 7:00pm, in order to ride things at Future World, they'll make you show your EMH bracelet (which you will get at the front of the park by showing a CM your hotel key).

Hope this helps,

BT

Even in evening EMH, the rides Soaring and Test Track will still be packed.Last November we finally got on Soaring at 11:45pm and that was with a 30 minute wait.

Another question - Do fastpasses continue to be available during EMH?

Wow, really? I never knew this.

Interesting...So on a regular non-EMH day, rides like Test Track and Soarin remain open even after 7pm? Is that all the time? Are those rides crowded then...if people think FW is closed? Do they issue FP's for after 7pm?

Yes, Soarin', SE, MS, and TT are all open until 9:00, even on regular days.

We went second week in Jan. Since Soarin lines were so long during the day and the FAstpass time we got did not work out for us we thought we'd be real "smart" and enter Epcot late on EMH to ride. Boy we're we surprised to see the 40 minute line at 11:00 pm! We waited and loved it! But it was funny in line everyone around us had the same thought we did and everyone was surprised by the length of the line! :)

For Test Track and Soarin' you would be really lucky to find Fast Passes available much after early afternoon. They do re-open the FP machines for some attractions with the start of EMH.

I must disagree with the poster who said that in FW after 7pm they make you show your EMH wristband. The popular attractions remain open every night until 9pm or WS closing, whichever is later......regardless of whether it is an EMH night or not. I saw some posters in the last few months mention that Disney has put up signs on these attractions stating that they run until 9pm every night.

So....to clear up confusion......Future World may "officially" close at 7pm most nights......BUT the popular attractions are up and running until 9pm or WS closing every night.....EMH or not.......

when we were there last February, I couldn't believe how crowded everything was during evening EMH. FP's went quickly, but we got one for TT at 9:00pm, for a return time of 11:30, standby had a wait time of 60-75 minutes. Hopefully, Soarin will take some pressure off of TT and MS.

On the brighter side, all of the other attractions at Epcot, such as I Shrunk the Audience, Figment, etc., were litterally walk on attractions, with virtually no wait.

It will be interesting to see if there's any significant difference this February, as compared to last February.
