Evening at MK w/o 3 FP+

For one of our park days in August, we'll be hitting Hollywood Studios one morning and using FP+. So for evening touring at Magic Kingdom, we'll be walking in with only our 4th FP+ to be made. Does anyone have tips on the best way to tour MK without the 3 FP+?

We'll be visiting WDW for 10 days, and will be at MK on multiple occasions, so hitting headliners is not necessarily a must. However, we don't want a night filled with "anytime attractions". Crowd level predictions for MK that day is 7. Any strategies would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

You can conceivably make a 4th, 5th, maybe 6th and 7th FP+ in MK.
(You can often book a FP+ with a return time just a few minutes from booking time,
so you could use that FP, then book another right after you ride, and etc.)

But, just which attractions will still be available is in question.

Like Robo said, you can get multiple additional FP at the kiosks, one at a time. But there's no way of knowing what the return times will be for the rides you are interested in, it depends on how busy the MK actually gets that day and when you get there. You'll likely have a choice, for example: a headliner with return time two or more hours away, or a secondary ride sooner. If the crowd level is really a 7, in late afternoon/early evening I would doubt you'd see a lot of return times a few minutes away.

If I was doing a HS morning and taking a pool break, I would only hop to MK for the evening if I was planning on staying at MK until park close, or if I didn't really care about doing a lot of rides. It sounds like you want to do some rides. My strategy would be to get your 4th FP right away, do some "anytime" attractions or anything with no wait, get more FP at kiosks when you can. Standby wait times will drop after fireworks and during the last hour the park is open. Note that posted standby wait times are often grossly inflated right before closing (on our last trip, posted 40 minutes for 7DMT was only 10).

Here's an example of what we were able to accomplish from 8 pm to midnight early last summer on a crowd level 8 day. No FP+

Big Thunder 3x
Splash Mtn 2x
Space Mtn 2x
Mine Train (10 min wait right a closing time)
Pirates
Jungle Cruise
Haunted Mansion
Pooh
Peter Pan
Speedway
Barnstormer 2x

We also watched the parade and fireworks and had a couple of Dole Whips.

The most important fact to remember is that posted wait times are often greatly exaggerated at night.

Thanks @Lucius Best! I believe it's a midnight closing at MK that night, so the waits after Wishes will likely be our saving grace. We also will be able to ride during the parades and Wishes, so a little extra attractions time there. :flower:

That's an amazing list! Recommendations on where to start?
