Have any of you installed an Evenflo Triumph convertible car seat on an airplane? I am worried that it will be too big for the seat.

Me again LOL! I know what you mean about the Triumph being a BIG seat (at least the top). I would probably just call the airline and ask if there are any restrictions about size. I've read Delta's site top to bottom and it says nothing about size.
Just remember that you will probably be required to put the seat by the Window so it doesn't block the exit to the aisle in the event of an emergency :)

Call and ask - you'll feel better :thumbsup2

The US avg. for coach airline seats is 17 inches. As long you don't exceed that by more than an inch or so at the base, you'll be fine.

The width of the TOP of the carseat doesn't matter except that it will impinge a bit on your shoulder room; overhead shield carseats were notoriously wide and those worked on planes, too. The bulkhead is curved out at shoulder level, and you'll be raising the armrest anyway.
