Eve Magic Hours at AK

How are the crowds? Is it worth doing? I want to do it one evening we are there, with the plans of getting there for the Jammin Jungle Parade, and stay to do everything we can, and then going another morning for what we miss.

FWIW, I'm talking about the 3rd week in March. I just hear Evening Magic Hours can be crazy busy at Epcot and MGM....would like to hear any feedback on AK. I think the park is open to the public until 7, so it would be open until 10 for us. Thanks so much!

I've done the evening EMH at AK several times, but never in March. KS closes at sunset, if not earlier (the animals have a very strict contract that they only have to work a certain # of hours). There's only been one extra FotLK show when I've gone, always within the first hour. There's very little to "do", but if you're like me, and just love to walk around and savor the atmosphere, EMH is a great time at AK. Crowds are very low (like non-existent). It's the only time at WDW, that I went into a publc restroom, used it, and left, and no one else came in the whole time. Somehow, that felt really wierd. EE was about a 15 minute wait (I can't comment on the views since one morning ride was enough for me). However, I did ride TS 3 X w/o getting off, and after dark, the view of the ToL is excellent from there.

The way I am hoping is we can do this before EMH starts at 7: Jungle Parade T 4, then Safaris (first get a FP for EE if any left), then FOTLK. Grab dinner. Then do the rides- we like EE a lot, Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, Triceratops Spin, the Dig site (if open) and maybe Kali. Then leave by 9, as we do have young children. I doubt we would stay til 10. I have ALWAYS done AK right when it opens until about 2, so it will be interesting to see it in the evening hours.
