Ok- we arrive on at disney epcot latemh night around 6. We plan to go straight to epcot see what we can ride and have dinner at 9:10 @ chefs de france.my tentative plan is to get to chefs @ 8:50 and give son our ttw to get fastpasses for soarin as soon as fastpass opens for emh at 9 and meet us at dinner while illuminations crowd thins out. Now, if we are on DDP will we have to give ttw before we order as we won't have them back yet? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated!!!

I think Soarin's will have long been out of FastPasses, and I'm relatively certain they don't start up again for EMH.

But, Chefs de France was the one place the server asked to see our Keys to the World.

My experience in general with evening EMH is that Fastpass is generally not restarted, except on very busy nights. Even then it is up to the attraction manager that night. Soarin' may be an exception and use it more often - I've never really noticed. But you cannot rely on it.

Why would a restaurant need to see your KTTW? Was it because you were eating during Extra Magic Hours? Just wondering! I have never had a restaurant ask to see my park ticket or my room key and cannot imagine why they'd need to.

That part of the original question pertained to the DDP and credits on the card, I believe.

I was at Disney World at one of the most busiest times of year (Spring Break 2009) and did Epcot evening EMH during the trip and FPs were NOT restarted for Soarin', TT, nor any of the rides. I also went to MK evening EMH during the week when the park was closed to capacity and they didn't restart FPs during evening EMH either.

Yes,EEMH was the reason I would think, but it is still very confusing on what non-eligible EEMH Guests can and can't do during EEMH.Supposedly the only thing non-eligible Guests cannot do during EEMH is access the attractions, but it seems some CMs will not allow full-service restaurant access also.:)

Fast passes will definitely be all gone by that time.

You'll have to just try your luck and wait in line.

UNLESS they "reset" the Soarin' FASTPASS machines at 9:00 for EEMH.:)OP,when you arrive at Epcot at 6:00,go by Guest Relations and ask for an EEMH Times Guide. It will list everything that is open for that particular EEMH and their operating hours. If a decision has been made to use FASTPASS for Soarin' for that particular EEMH prior to the printing of the EEMH Times Guide,it will be noted in the Guide. If Soarin' is not designated as a FASTPASS attraction in the EEMH Times Guide,it is STILL possible FASTPASS could be used that night-you would just have to go to Soarin' at 9:00 and check.:)

My daughter works at Soarin' and she says in her experience Soarin' does not restart up FPs - meaning every time she has worked EMH at night there have not been FPs restarted.

She recommends going the last half hour of the night - she and I did that last time I was down there and it worked out well. We still had a wait but it wasn't bad.

GREAT information. That has been my experience as well.Over the years,I HAVE seen FASTPASS offered for EEMH at Soarin',but it seems to be rare and "third" in frequency of offering EEMH FASTPASSES behind Mission:SPACE first and then Test Track second. That is so true-the 11:30 to Midnight(Midnight to 12:30 AM in December)window is the best time-I have usually been able to ride twice during that window.:)
