Can anyone tell me who are the 3 Disney approved ECV rental co? I know Walker Mobility is one. We are staying 5 nights at disney and 3 nights at Universal and are planning to take a Mears taxi van between hotels , can we fit 4 adults plus luggage and a ECV in van or do we need to have pick up and delivery at both places?

1. There is no such thing as a "Disney Approved ECV Rental Company". In Post #2 of the disABILITIES FAQs we list several rental locations that have generally gotten good reviews fro people in this Forum. You can get directly to the disABILITIES FAQs by clicking on the link in my signature.

2. Mears not only has over 20 accessible taxis, but more than likely that also have accessible vans and you can contact them for a reservation.

this is what Walker says on there web site
•One of only three Disney-approved companies with representatives on site

Have rented from Walkers for over ten years but if your going over to Universal have whatever scooter company your using deliver another one there. Know that Mears has a shuttle with a life but---they would NOT take my Mothers EVC from WDW to Sea Wold several years ago...:thumbsup2

I have used Care Medical for mine. They also deliver and pick up no charge. I like them for the simple reason that they have cloth seats vs the vinyl seats, much cooler in the heat.

I have rented Randy's and they dropped at the Universal Hotel, then p/u at the Disney hotel. THere should be an Internet coupon.
I would think a Mears would have a van. THe scooter will collaps down and if they need, could transport 5 by removing the center two seats for more room for luggage or the ECV.
I have also rented from Apple, for budget and smaller type ECV for transporting in the car. If it is a smaller adult.
Just my experiance.
