I love love love the convienience of getting off of the Eurostar and being there! It's fantastic, but it's cheaper to fly :(
Such troubles
what do you prefer?

is it cheaper to fly once you add on your transfers from the airport to your Disney hotel and back?

I don't really have a choice, if I'm to make the most out of my time I have to fly (and its cheaper to do so for me, otherwise I'm looking at overnight stays in London or driving to Ashford and overnight stays there before and after the Eurostar).

It's our first trip this weekend and we are flying from Manchester to Paris CDG then getting a return shuttle (shuttle was 98 euros round trip and flights 110 pp return)

Driving down south for the Eurostar or euro tunnel would have been cheaper for us by about £200 but it was a lot of hassle having to do all that driving and staying over each way whereas we don't live far from the airport.
Plus for us it'll feel more like a holiday flying.

Eurostar every time for me, it's just less hassle and love getting off the train and being right at Disney

I'm a Eurostar fan, it's relaxing and stress free and you arrive right outside the park gates.

I've done both and prefer flying, purely from a logistical point of view.
Like Elaine I have to organise over night stops to use the Eurostar. Flying from Bristol or Cardiff I can leave my house at 2.00pm and be in Paris by 6.30 :)

Always the Eurostar for me. I'm not fond of flying for starters and we're only two hours from Ashford. I also quite like the overnight stay beforehand - it gets the holiday started sooner!

I always try to get the cheapest seats on the eurostar and would be happy to travel via Lille or drive if I couldn't. Flights would have to be considerably cheaper for me to consider it.

As a non driver Eurostar is first choice.....but I live 10 minutes walk away from the station so its a no brainer lol :-)
But given our location, we can drive and flying doesn't even come into it. I fly to Germmany though, but what I hate is the trauma of getting to the airport!
