Hi All,

I'm assuming that 'Best Match' is the way to go as it doesn't have a +£ figure next to it (always a good thing!) but I just wondered if someone could explain to me what the different pricing options are actually for?

I can't see any detail on it being different seat types or anything like that. Is it similar to flights where once a certain pricing level is sold out it goes up to the next, even though the seats are exactly the same?

Thanks in advance for any advice! :thumbsup2

From what I gather from reading these boards for years, the best way to get the best price on Eurostar is to call them, not wait until the seats become available to book online. Sometimes seats can be booked by phone 10 months in advance of travel, but those same seats only show up online maybe 4 or 5 months in advance.

If your dates are not available to book by phone yet, Eurostar will take your details and contact you as soon as you can book, so you get the best price.

The later you leave it to book the Eurostar, the more expensive it gets.

Thanks for the advice, this is helpful to know...

Also, if you book directly with Eurostar you'll know your seat number immediately. :thumbsup2 Booking through DLP means you'll be part of a group booking and your seats won't be allocated until later on which has sometimes resulted in families being not seated together.

Is this if you book Eurostar separately, or also as part of a package as long as it's through them rather than Disney?

I've only booked the rail journeys with them and not a package so can't help with that. Hopefully someone else will know .....
