Hi, I have just booked my first ever trip travelling on the Eurostar. At a risk of sounding silly  can you tell me what happens with my luggage on the Eurostar?
Do I check it in somewhere and pick it up later, or do I take it with me like on a normal train?
Is the Eurostar just like a normal train - I have never even seen a picture of inside them.
Sorry for sounding thick, I did a lot of research for our trip to WDW and will no doubt do the same with this trip. Expect lots of questions about DLP!
Hope you can help,

Sara. :)

You carry it with you.......through security, and then put it on the train yourself in a baggage section, just inside the entrance to your carriage.

You keep luggage with you. You store it overhead or in specific luggage areas.

More information can be found Here
Just type in Luggage in the question/keyword field :)

Hope that helps! :) Eurostar is an excellent way to travel, hope you enjoy it!

Don't worry about asking for help, we're a friendly lot and will help if possible.

Just thought i would mention though, if anyone has thought about driving there and decided not to....it is a very nice drive and very easy.....also cheaper if a family is going, we find it a less tiring day when we drive.....thats how we get there mostly.

Driving was something DH and I talked about for going, but as he can't get time off work, I am going with my mum and DS. DM cannot drive and I have been driving for only a year (despite being 31! - I never liked it and put off learning) so would never be able to do it myself.

Add to that the fact that DS loves trains and Eurostar was the obvious option.

Thanks for your quick replies!

Sara. :)

Donnababe, just checked the link. Thanks very much!

You can only store small bags in the overhead space, all suitcases must be stored in the racks which are next to each train door. The corridors have to be kept clear because you can walk between the carraiges to get to the buffet car (very expensive - take your own). If you book with Disney Direct you can take your luggage to their check in desk at Marne La Vallee and they will take it to your Disney hotel for you. If not you have to take it to the hotel yourself - there are shuttle buses outside the train station if you need them which leave every 10 minutes.
