Hi, we've just booked in the 50% sale for August and want to travel by Eurostar (booking separately) which we've never done before.:scared1:
I just wondered:
- how easy the connection is via Lille for the return journey as the direct train is too late for us?
- whether it's worth paying the extra £16 per adult for Disney Express service and where we collect our cases from at the station for our return? Also what else we get with this service?

Sorry, but with only a few weeks to plan and no experience of the Eurostar, I am going into hyper-planning mode!!!:rotfl:

Hello, congratulations on your booking :goodvibes

Eurostar is my favourite way to travel to DLP

For Disney Express: if you're travelling from St Pancras you will be given all your hotel documents on board, including tickets for the park, park guide and luggage labels. Attach the luggage labels to your cases. When you get the the station in Disneyland, go to the top floor of the station (this is very well signposted) and you will see the Disney express desk where you had your lugggage over.

This means you can just go straight into the park, and there is no need to check into your hotel first.

If you're catching the Eurostar from Ashford, the same applies, although they usually have Disney CM's in the waiting lounge, where you will be given all the hotel/park pass/ luggage details.

On the day you leave: Drop your luggage at the left luggage counter in your hotel. Go to the parks and enjoy your last day. Your luggage will be waiting for you at the luggage counter in the station, when you go to check in. It's the same desk that you will have dropped them at on your first day.

The above is all assuming that you are staying at one of the on-site hotels?

IMO the disney express service is fantastic.

It's years since we done the Lille transfer, so I'm not much use with that I'm afraid. But I'm sure someone will be able to help.

Happy planning :goodvibes

Cant you only do Disney Express if you are on the direct Eurostar (ie not via Lille)?

I have no idea! I've been trawling though the info but it's all so confusing!:confused3

Ms Poppins: thankyou for your reply. We are staying at the Newport Bay Club so would qualify but it sounds as though it's not possible if we're not travelling home on the direct train. I can't wait to try the Eurostar as we've always flown or driven before :goodvibes

I'm not sure about the return journey, but i'm sure you can do it going out if you're going direct. It may depend on the time of your train going home.

Eurostar will keep you right if you give them a call. :thumbsup2
