London can be expensive but I can recommend a fantastic affordable B&B hotel. We were in London this past May and stayed at the Luna Simone (see travel advisor reviews). It's a very quick walk to the Pimlico or Victoria Stations. Bus #24 stops right in front of the hotel. It's situated in a great little neighborhood with cozy restaurants and a grocery store that we passed every day on our way to and from the hotel. It was great for picking up drinks and snacks on the way back to the room. Our rate for a twin room as 110 pounds or 100 pounds for cash payment. That's a GREAT price for such a great location. It's clean, comfortable (although small), with modern bathrooms. Rate includes daily breakfast. Check them out!
