When we get to Paris, will the prices be the same as the Disney Stores here?

Ive just been in the Disney store and saw something my son would love.

It was £35 or 50euros.

I then went to exchange some money, £50 and I got 55euro, this made me realise that its going to cost alot more to purchase something in euros!

if anything, the prices at DLP are more expensive than Disney Stores in the UK and Eire.

The prices there are usually more than from a normal Disney store regardless of the euro.

If you think he would love it that much my advice would be to buy it here and smuggle it away with you :)

I've bought loads of bits to surprise him with! He has been saving his money up so he can buy something while there!

Will have to hope he wants things not available in uk, *** he won't understand waiting til he is home!

He has about 60 euros, hope he will have enough!

would he understand the concept of window shopping until the last day, when he can spend all his money?

thats what I do with my DD, but she was nearly 6 when we first went to DLP. She gets to buy a soft toy if she wants one, on the first day. Then we go window shopping during the rest of the trip, and she can note what she wants to buy, then we tot it up and see what she has the money for. If she's got enough, she can buy the lot on our last/2nd last day, if not, she has to prioritise what she wants to buy the most.

I love this idea!! Not sure how it will work out with a 5 year old little boy but I'm going to give it a whirl!! (not even going to try with my 2 year old little girl but then she won't be asking for things every time we go into a shop!!)

We've just bought our DS and DD the cuddly 2011 ice skating Mickey and Minnie that were reduced from £25 to £10 on the Disney Store site so they'll be getting wrapped ready for the big surprise the morning we leave!! They came yesterday and they're lovely, can't wait to see their faces :lovestruc

I walked around with Mickey in my hand and then put it back!! Ive bought loads, but thinks these presents are from Mickey and knows the difference between going in the shop to buy!

I think i will try make him wait until our last day before buying, I know this is going to be hard though!

The huge Stitch that was reduced to half price in my local Disney store nearly came home with me on Sunday - but I managed to resist (just :littleangel:).
