Ethnic Hair & BBB or MK Barber Shop

I'd love to take DD to get an updo and some glitter --- can these places do ethnic (really thick and curly) hair? If so, is there something I need to do to prep it?

Anyone with ethnic hair been through this? I'm sure the boys would be fine, but it's DD's hair that I wasn' sure if it would work.

Yes they can. Several people have asked this question and I believe some pics are posted on the thread link in my sig. They also have two or three fairy godmothers in training if you would like to ask more questions there.

I bet they can. Both the "barbers" the day we went were older black women. One actually had quite a time trying to manage my very fine non-ethnic hair,but she did great with DH & DSs very Mediterranean hair.
