Eternity on a ride

Rode It's a Small World for the first time last week and it got me thinking. If the rides came to life, would you rather spend eternity stuck in The Haunted Mansion or It's a Small World?

The Tiki Room at Disneyland (NOT AT WDW, NEVER, EVER!) but there would have to be a bar put in there first.

And not a Dole Whip bar, either.

For me it would have to be HM!! I love Small World but hearing that song over and over and over again would drive me crazy. I find now going on it just ONCE a visit (as we go all the time to DL) I get off that ride singing the song as it gets stuck in my head!!!!

I LOVE the Tiki Room in WDW!!!!!

However, I don't like the little "show" the CM's did before, and I do agree their would have to be a bar of some sort. Or just a hose from which vodka flowed.

HM, at least it's dark so I can nap. I can barely make it one round trip in Small World without losing my mind.

Are those the only 2 choices? Haunted Mansion, hands down. Otherwise, if we could pick any ride, it'd be POTC by a landslide.

I absolutely LOVE POTC especially in DL.....anyone who loves POTC and has only been to the WDW has nooooooooo ideaaaaaaaaa how awesome it is in DL!!! But that was not on the list OR for sure I would pick POTC/DL!!!

You should add the Mexico ride to that list, especially at the Donald part .

OMG-same thing happened to us, and it's the same freaking clip of the song over and over and over and over (with us it was "it's a world of laughter a world of tears, it's a world of laughter a world of tears, it's a world of laughter a world of tears.........."

dh and i are convinced that making someone sit through this for an extended period of time would be an effective means of torture for interrogation

haunted mansion hands down-at least you're not trapped in a freaking boat so you would have a chance of making a run for the exit

My brother and his wife were stuck on Small World for over an hour when the ride broke down. He was ready to jump in and swim to safety. If I had to be stuck on a WDW ride for eternity, I'd prefer Pirates, but Haunted Mansion wouldn't be too bad, either.

The buggies are much more comfortable than the boats but HM is always SO dang cold (at least at DL). The DL holiday versions of both rides are wonderful. I love the music and the decorations in both. It is a toss-up.

I know I am a grown-up and it is just a ride, but honestly the idea of spending a night in the non holiday HM scares me a little. I love the ride, but would not want to LIVE in it. So it comes down to spending eternity creeped out or annoyed. I think I'll pick annoyed.

IASW, I would be too afraid of HM after awhile, I could tune out the music, but not those voices. But I would rather it be POTC Oh and can you throw in Will Turner?????

I would say HM IF I could cut out the bride portion. That part of the ride actually scares me.

Hearing the song from Small world would make me pull my hair out.

I rode It's a Small World in 1986, I don't ever have to do it again.

I'll take Haunted Mansion, Mission Space, Soarin' anything over
It's a Small World, I'd take the Teacups before It's a Small World.

Ooh, well, then I'd be much obliged if perhaps Commodore Norrington could be worked into the attraction for me, then. You'd have to taser me to get me to leave!
