If you are staying at an offsite hotel that allows online reservations, be sure to check rates a week before you depart. I checked the Doubletree Guest Suites site last night, 10 days before departure, and couldn't believe what I found!
Rates had dropped dramatically for two nights of my stay, to a point well below the already great rates I had booked, saving me over $35. No secret codes were needed, they were just right there on the web site! I know these rates changed this week as I just checked last week.
