some of our estas are due to run out, question is if they run out after you arrive are you ok?
Or do they only have to be valid for the date you're arriving
we land 26th July Esta runs out 10th Aug, I think were ok but would like to check if anyone else has had same issue

your ESTA is intended for entry only

so basically you're covered and don't need to renew.

Still, if during the course of your vacations you were to exit the US and needed to re-enter the US after the expiration, you'd be in trouble (Let's say your flight home is diverted to canada, and then returned to a US airport for some reason. That's a really remote chance though.)

Hi Paul, I asked the exact same question a few weeks back. Basically, the answer is 'yes', the ESTA is only required for entry into the USA so as long as it is valid ont he day you arrive in Florida, it doesn't matter if it expires while you are there. I presume the exception to this might be if you were aking a cruise while you were there, which would mean 'exiting' the US and therefore 're-entering'. If you're not doing that, though, you should be absolutely fine.

I will try and find the thread and post the extract from the US Immigration website that confirms this.

ETA: Here is a link to the thread I posted asking the same question and the answers I got.

great saved a few $ there
