ESPN the weekend Feb 25-27

Just saw a thing on ESPN about ESPN The Weekend at WDW.

The dates are Feb 25-27, 2005.

They usually have it later in the year. We where there last year and got to see them broadcasting from MGM

the commercials are just hilarious for this. just another reason to watch espn and the best show in the history of televison (sportscenter)

Goofyfreak, can you tell me about it?

I'll be there for the February one and was just wondering about how it affected crowds? Obviously July is a totally different time to go than February, but I was just curious.

They basically do different filming of the show through out the day. And have different sports stars usually on each show. I dont belive it has much effect at all on the parks. But you might loose your husband different times of day. Its not like star wars or soap opera weekend where people plan special trips just to see it. Though they are trying to get it to that. I belive that is the reason for them moving it to Feb.

Oh and I forgot the Who Wants to be a millionare is all sports that weekend.


They usually do the filming in one of the studios and Sports Center is filmed in front of the HAT.

Thanks so much! That's good to know. I'm going with my parents, so it will be my Dad that I'll lose for awhile Actually, I am hoping I can get some specific filming times as it gets closer so he can go see one of the shows that interests him.
