we wanted to go to the ESPN Zone on a sunday evening to watch the Giants VS Eagles. how crowded do you think it will be? they dont take ADR so how long before the start of the game would you get there to be seated by 8:15 kickoff?

We did this on Sunday at lunch for an earlier game.

My best advice -- get there when the late afternoon game should be ending (and pray for no overtime). The patrons who have held down the tables for that game will be leaving, freeing up space for the line of sports fans waiting for the night game.

And yes, they will sit there for hours.

They had a "live" show produced from the bar on the Sunday we were there, guys with mikes in both the bar and the main floor, asking fans questions about their teams and prospects. It gets very lively.

My husband and I ALWAYS have to spend a full Sunday there when we go to Disney to watch the Giants. I am talking get there at 10:30 and wait until they open at 11:00. We won't leave until the game is over and if it's the 1:00 game we generally stay for most of the four o'clock game. He is OBSESSED! We are usually walking crooked when we leave but it is a great time. That being said because it is the 8:15 game you should be fine getting a seat because they will have the game on multiple TV's. We have noticed allot of Eagle fans every time they play so it may be crowded. Really a great atmosphere to watch the game. I say get there as early as you can and enjoy! GO BIG BLUE!

Plan on waiting in line a few hours before the game starts.

ESPN is very busy on game day..lol. A lot of fun...but very very busy!

GO GIANTS!!! Yeah, about an hour before and hopefully once the 4:00 games end you will be ok. Watch out for those crazy Eagle fans.

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!! Great place to watch football on sunday, and yes there are alot of us Eagles fans there to watch the game. That is because we are the best fans in the world and we can't even miss a game while on vacation. Go Birds!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

I don't know about the best but I know they are the craziest. That must be why the have a jail at the stadium! Seriously though, everyone at the ESPN Club is really cool to watch a game with.

Crowds are ridiculous at the ESPN Zone for football games. Go early, be prepared to wait.

I'm proud to be a Philly fan. Only we know how to boo Santa Claus (and yes, we did because the idiot missed the target when skydiving into the stadium). You have to give us a break, though. What have we had to cheer about lately?

We were at WDW for an extended vacation last year staying at the Boardwalk, and I was thinking about spending an afternoon at ESPN to watch the games, drink, etc.

I wandered down to the Bakery (which is very close to ESPN) for breakfast one morning and there was already a line to get in - I think it was about 10am. At that point, I started to make alternate plans.

I think showing up towards the end of the second games is a good idea. But if it's packed, Big River, which is also on the Boardwalk, will have the game on. Their food as a whole isn't great, but the appetizers are good and the burgers are among the best in WDW. Oh, and the beer is pretty good too!

does the ESPN on the Boardwalk not take ADRs?

allearsnet.com says no reservations accepted...

i would like to go there for E-A-G-L-E-S vs. redskins

No, no reservations at ESPN Club. It's first come, first served only. You can go into the bar area which serves the same food with a shorter wait that the dining room. Just as many TVs in the bar as there are in the dining area.

in the bar area, do they have tables or do you have to eat around the bar?

On Sept 23rd and the night game on the 30rd sweet 2 eagles games in disney world. I wanna go there for the game and will arrive early thanks for the advice but what about playoff baseball go phillies

There are some tables in the bar area so you can sit at a table or at the bar and eat.
