We are planning to do Fantasmic on Thursday, 11th of Dec.I've scrapped the idea of doing a Fantasmic dinner package and as it would seem too late to eat in the park afterwards (Fantasmic @ 7pm, DHS Closes @8pm) I am now investigating walking over to ESPN afterwards for dinner.
I see that they do not take ADR's. I don't believe it's a football night do you think we'd be ok getting a table this time of night?
I also see there is a boat from DHS to The Boardwalk but guessing at that time of night it may be just as easy/quick to walk? Yes? No? How long would it take to walk?

And Robo I would really appreciate one of your maps for this. Please. Please.:flower3:

P.S. After dinner would the best way to get back to WL is bus to MK (it's a MVMCP night) and then a bus/boat to WL?

Can't help with the Robo map part, but a walk from DHS to ESPN Club would be around 18-20 minutes. Even if you could walk right on the boat and then leave the DHS dock, the boat would take 8 minutes to S/D, plus load/unload time, then 4-5 minutes to YC/BC, plus load/unload time, then 4-5 minutes to cross to BW dock. If you did catch the boat from DHS to S/D, you could get off there, and then walk over to ESPN Club in about 7 minutes. It would cut your walk distance, and time, if you were tired.

We go to ESPN at night quite often (to get 'warmed up' for Jellyrolls) - that time of year, we've not had a significant problem getting a table for a later dinner, especially if there are no major sporting events that night.

It's about a mile from Boardwalk to DHS via the walkway - but, I've never walked it at night. Usually takes us about 12 - 15 minutes, but it all depends on how fast you're walking (obviously... :rotfl: ).

Have a great time - we'll be down that a way for our anniversary then, so maybe we'll see you there!

I'm a little confused... I thought seating times for Fantamic Dinner packages started around 4pm?

Actually, there is a football game that night. Saints V. Bears

Thanks for that information, fwm. Do you think I should ditch this plan now?
Does anyone know if it is likely that ESPN would be too crowded that night to get a table to eat dinner there AFTER Fantasmic.

Note to justplaingoofy : I know there are dinner packages available at DHS for Fantasmic but we would prefer not to eat @ 4pm. Too early for us. :upsidedow
