ESPN Club on a Sunday around 5pm in Aug??

Is trying to get a table at the ESPN club around 5pm in Aug on a Sunday going to be impossible?? I have all of our ADRs already made. I have Sunday the 7th marked off for the ESPN Club. Do u think it would be hard to get in?? I figured if we got there about 430ish if there was a wait the kids could play in the arcade area.


We did go on a Sunday in August in '08 right after Tropical Storm Fay moved out. We had NO wait at all around 5pm. I don't know if it is the norm or not. I always thought it was not bc of the storm.

I don't have anything planned for that day- just a day to hang out where ever we go. Debating on switching it to a Tuesday or Wednesday-- if I can get one of those ressies on that Sunday

Any input would be appreciated.

I would imagine you shouldn't have a problem getting a table. The only way I could see you having an issue would be if there was a major sporting event taking place that night because the wait times can be extensive during those games due to people getting there early to ensure a table. Otherwise, I'd say you'd be golden.

Thanks - I thought the same-- no major sports this time around other than regular season baseball. We were down a few years ago during the summer olympics to I can see where that would make it crowded.

I'm just wondering if it also might be crowded w/ locals since it is a sunday?

DD7 wants to go back to see the TV's in the bathroom!

This past December my Dad and I went to the ESPN Club three times to watch the Toronto Maple Leafs games and didn't wait at all to be seated, in fact we got there a couple of minutes before the games started and didn't need to get there an hour before like others had suggested. The first two times we sat right down at their high top tables. The third time we asked to sit at the bar since there was a little line outside and the host was taking names for a table, so when we asked if the bar was available she said yes and we walked right in.

As long as there's not a game like the Yankees vs. the Red Sox, you should be fine.

Checked the mlb schedule. On August 7th there is one 8:00 game - Cleveland at Texas. However, NY is playing Boston in Boston and the schedule lists the game time as TBD. My thought is if you get in 3 hours before the game you should be fine but it will get crowded by 7:00 or so. The reuben is very good. Enjoy the evening!

We are hoping for an early dinner. Good suggestion on checking the MLB schedule. I think we would be okay.

DH and I both had the Rueben when we were there the last time. Very yummy!!
