Hi there,

I have a few (ok..a lot of questions) about DVC rental for my honeymoon.

We plan on having an Escape wedding may 3 2013. We would stay at BWI from the 1st to the 5th (to guarantee the 4 nights needed). After that I was thinking of renting points at the BCV ( DVC request) from the 5th to the 11th.

We really want to do the DDP for all 11 days, but since WDW gives wedding couples free annual passes, how would I go about adding the DDP on if I am staying DVC after the wedding? :confused3

Do I add the DDP for the first four days with the help of Disney reservations and then ask "DVCrequests" to add my DDP from the 5th to the 11th? Im so dizzy and confused my head hurts :headache:

It just feels like I will be making like 4 or 5 different payments :lmao:

Thanks for the help fellow Disbrides

Adding DDP to a DVC reservation does not require you to buy tickets. The owner would have to add it for you, and payment for the plan is due upfront.

Yes. :thumbsup2

Not that you asked, but as an annual passholder, I find I get more value from the Tables In Wonderland 20% discount than we ever did on the DDP. It would certainly simplify all this for you while alleviating the need to pay for your food upfront. :goodvibes

Thanks Carrie, I was secretly hoping you would answer! (p.s. I love your podcasts)

I will look into Tables in Wonderland! :goodvibes
Do you happen to know anybody that I could rent BCV points from in May 2013?

Thanks for all your help, your book/website and podcasts have kept me from becoming a nervous wreck! :rotfl:

Renting DVC points still counts as your 4 night minimum (unless the rules have changed) so you could stay in one place for the entire time if you want.
