Hi fellow Disney people!

I am recently engaged and we are planning an Escape wedding at Walt Disney World (yay!). We would like the end of August, 2016 and I know this means I have to wait to submit my forms.

I have SO many questions. I will try not to overwhelm you all but if anyone could shed any light on ANY of these, I would be eternally grateful.

1. I know that escape packages don't include a reception; are we able to have a first dance during the champagne toast?
2. We would like have a dessert reception with 20 people in Epcot. Is it possible to just add a couple of bottles of champagne instead of adding the alcohol per person package? We dont have too many drinkers but it would be a nice touch.
3. We have always dreamt of an Up themed wedding. Does anyone know the approximate costs of adding balloons to the ceremony location? We are hoping for Sea Breeze on the boardwalk.
4. Our package includes annual passes. Are we able to use them for the wedding trip or not so much?
5. I have read a LOT of horror stories about the MK portrait sessions being not worth the money. Does anyone have any good/bad stories about these?

Thanks all!

Yep!

If alcohol is served they charge you $100 for a bartender.

You get vouchers that you can activate whenever you want.

You don't want to hear my story... there seem to be more good stories than bad these days, though.

I was married 5 years ago and had an MK and AK shoot. I love most of my pictures.

For MK my favorites were behind the castle which is the only option for castle pics right now. A few examples:

I'm planning an Escape vow renewal/wedding too. Yea I initially thought about the bridal portrait, but quickly nixed that idea with the cost.

We don't have a lot of drinkers in my party. I know if you don't want the champagne toast, you can do sparkling cider instead, which I think we might be doing.

My BFF was married at Sea Breeze Point several years ago. It is a beautiful venue. And in August, I hope you get the wonderful breeze that she got on her wedding day. (Trust me, it made a big difference!)
