we leave later today for an 8 night cruise in a balcony room and I was just wondering how the tipping works
do they automatically put it on the room account
can I go to guest services to had it taken off and do they have envelopes for cash tips
are they separate envelopes for each person
any other tips on tipping would greatly help

Gratuity is automatically included and charged to your account. We have always pre-paid the gratuity and don't ever think about them again. We have in the past given a cash tip when someone has gone above and beyond what would normally be expected of them. You can get it taken off but I would discourage you from doing that. I haven't seen envelopes for tipping in years since they switched to auto gratuity and the pre pay options.

You can go to Guest Services and pay off your tips with cash. It’s recommended to do this on days 2-6 for you as 1 and 7 will be extremely busy.

I’m not sure they would allow a guest to remove the tips from their account and basic topping is mandatory. You can add additional tips at Guest Services or pay to staff in person.
