Today I don't have to go into work until later. The head said we could come and go as we wanted today as long as we are ready for the kids coming back on Monday. Yesterday we had a staff meeting and in the middle of it the head got a call to say her daughter had just had a baby and she had become a grandma for the 1st time!!

Well I better go and get in the shower and get ready for the day ahead.

How aBOUT a meet for breakfast on 10/10 or lunch?? I leave that day.. or diner on 10/9 i have room on my ADR at Tutto Italian.. i think that is the name it is the new italian place in italy.. or we could go somewhere else..

Afternoon all!!

Well the weather is certainly beginning to change here, autumn (sorry fall!!) is nearly here. Today we did a little work on the garden, lots of weeding and we put a treatment on the grass out back. We are going to go and buy some outdoor patio heaters soon I think so we can still use the deck we have just built!

OK, I would like your opinions on something if that is OK. We were chatting yesterday to our friends about our future WDW Christmas trip. Pete and I liked using the dining plan (OK so it was free which helped!) on our last trip and we are thinking about getting it for our Christmas trip. I'm not sure which would be better value for us though. We will be in a 2 bedroomed villa so will have full kitchen and we will have a car so we can go off sie to a supermarket easily. We will have some days off site at lunch time (seaworld, shopping day etc) so we could on some days have 2 counter service meals so we can save a point to have a signature meal another day (we do like our signature restaurants, California Grill and Yachtsmans Steakhouse are a must each trip plus I really want to try Narcoossees next time). Plus on Christmas day we would eat at the villa and we are doing Victoria and Alberts anyway. So seen as we would be buying extra food on top of the dining plan I don't know if it would be worth it. We know that the deluxe plan would leave us with too many credits so that wouldn't be worth it. I think I may have to do some research and number crunching!

Morning all, just stopping by quickly as I have loads of housework to do today. I want to make sure the house has a good clean before the new school term starts and I don't have as much time on my hands to do things! well cleaning up frpom Eric party last night.. it was better than I thought it might be although the police came at 10:30 and said our neighbors complained about the noise.. it was a bit much so the kids went to the basement..Wonder who called as I told all neighbors on both sides and in back of us,, hmmm

Hi everyone!! the slug is checking in...

had to read up on a few pages I missed. ugh.I am so bad.

I am a little down . my dh was supposed to be home in three weeks then they extended him for 6 more weeks. boo hoo. He may miss our quick Disney trip for Lauren's b day,

Sam leaves in two weeks for El Paso. So much to do. I think we found her a place to live,. She will rent a room with a family for a year. It looks very nice. We did a lot of checking up on this family and they sound great. Sam said it is like moving in with us! heheh

Off to start the day. so much to do on Labor Day! Have a great one!

I've been fighting a cold since Saturday, so I"ve decided to not be open today. I'm not in the mood to sit there, and be annoyed that I'm dead slow.
So, I'm going to stay home with the family

Well the 1st day of the new school year is over. My class seem nice (but it is early days yet!!). I was out on playground duty today and lots of the children from may class last year came running up to me for a hug!

Geffric Sorry the police got called on you. It does seem strange if you had warned the neighbours ahead of time. Plus 10:30 around here would be early, it has to be gone 11pm in England for noise to be a problem.

Cheeringmom So sorry your DH's tour has been extended, I hope those extra 6 weeks fly by for you.

I decided to not go to my Leads Group this morning - I just don't feel like it. I didn't sleep well last night, and I'm still getting over this cold. I feel bad ditching, but I'm just not in the mood


I hope you all had a good Labor Day.
Mine was very low key, which is great, especially since I didn't feel 100%. The girls swam in the pool, while I sat and watched - I even got a little sunburned. I also finished a book I was reading, so it was a good day!!!

**The cold is getting better each day - I just wish I slept well last night. I took mediciane Sat and Sun night that makes you sleep, and I didn't take it last night. I had a feeling that I would have a hard time sleeping, because my body gets used to that stuff really fast. Thanks for the well wishes!!!


Boy I would love one more day for us all to sleep in, but I guess it's time to get back to reality.

Thanks for the thoughts.. I taked to all of my neighbors again and it wasn't them so some one disliked the music... my next dorr neighbor said her kids slept right through it and she and her hubby were enjoying the music and dancing too..

Well yesterday I did an 8 mile walk in Busse Woods today it have 17900 steps.. I am trying to keep my step count in the 16000+ range for the whole month so I will be in WDW shape..

I am so tired..

I worked all day at Meal on Wheels.( walked there and back) . there wasn't anyone to run the kitchen so I came in and did all the home bound, adult daycare, and the cafe plut little city meals.. I am not used to physical labor.. whee i am tired.. then I got home, walked to Dominicks for a few things for dinner, took eric to the Dr.. he has pink eye.. home for him to rest, then back out again and picked up the drops..made dinner, went to Menards for Geoff's tarp.. BTW he called me today and needs a tent and tarp and some other things.. for this weekend as he is going to OA Vigil work weekend at the IA council..so I am driving to IA on Friday to deliver the stuff..

I am so tired and tomorrow I have Meal on Wheels until 1 pm and then SHIP so I'll be at the Senior Center all day.. then make dinner, pack the van, and ......

Eric's band has a show on Saturday in Carol stream so they will practice all Sat at my house and then I'll drive them and the stuff..
