Tagliarcy History:

We did have a Tag DISmeet way back in October of 04. There were nine of us at WDW....some with family...others of us just coming on down to play at WDW and meet our on line pals. Three of the moms left their families at home and shared a room together. It was great fun!



Have not done ANY Christmas preparation here yet....I don't even know where we are having Christmas dinner. Guess we'd better get on that or it may just be something from the freezer....

I've been here for maybe 3 1/2 years, and I've met some awesome people. I wish we weren't so scattered around, because it would be so great to have a Tag DIS meet. Maybe someday that'll happen

Thanks for the kind thought Slo . I am actually feeling much better today. I just had a cold but it was meaning I couldn't sleep so I was so tired.

It does suck that we are scattered around, making it harder for us all to meet. But at the same times its quite cool as we learn a little about lots of different places.

I was late doing Christmas preparations too this year, I am normally so organised. I have only just finished getting most of my presents and still have a few little bits to buy. And I haven't wrapped a single one. Luckily we wont be here for Christmas so I don't have to worry about that.

It was actually quite a bit warmer here today. When I went in to town I was actually pretty warm walking around the shops. Typically I had brought gloves, scarves, extra layers... none of which was needed, whereas yesterday when I had none it was freezing

Outside of no school tomorrow, I have no reason to be excited, because I have a very busy weekend ahead of me. I have mountains to do at work (well it feels like mountains, because I'm the only one that can do it ). Not only do I have physical work to do at work, but I also haven't sat at my desk to pay bills in forever - the piles keep rising!!!! I really wish my college employee was back to help me out, but she doesn't return until 12/22


ibounce - I bet that Tag Meet was a blast!!!! We need to do another one someday

Thats so cool, I bet the meet was a lot of fun. What sort of things did you do together?

We had a big group dinner at Jiko. We had a medium sized dinner at Boma, we had a group breakfast at Crystal Palace, then assorted configurations of folks did some of the parks together. There was also a MNSSHP in there too! Lots of fun!

And we had a mini tag meet in August in California whilst I was at Disneyland and RRBB, Ohannafamily and Geffric were about to leave on the Magic!! Plus we had NCBelle on the phone. I still can't believe I got to meet some Tag buddies when I live the other side of 'the pond!!'

Slo I would love to have a big Tag meet Anyone planning on a WDW trip for Christmas 2010?? I think we are. Or Disneyland Paris?? I'd love to show any of you around there!!

Well I am sure glad it is the weekend, but I have to finish my Christmas shopping tomorrow . I am also glad that I only have a week left then I have 2 weeks off work, I so need that break!!!!

Well as for weather here, this morning my pond had partly frozen over and my bunnies water bottles were frozen sold. I made sure I put extra hay in the hutch for them this evening!!

Hi everyone. I bet you thought I dropped off the face of the Tagliarchy. I've been reading when I can but I usually fall asleep at the computer when I sit down so posting just doesn't seem to happen that often.

Can anyone guess what today is??? Well don't stain yourself too hard cuz I'm about to tell you. It's IAN'S 4TH BIRTHDAY! I can't believe my tiny baby boy is 4 years old now.

RRBB - hi how are things with you? Are you having a party for IAN? I am so lucky that I saw him and Sophie on the cruise.. they are getting all grown up.. Tell Ian that Scott and I say happy birthday.,

It was cold here today.. wind chill was -3.. real temp was about 13 this morning. It is supposed to get up to 18 here.. BBBBRRRRRR..

ibouncetoo ~ Sounds like the tag meet was lots of fun, I bet you all had a ball. Did the people that went on the meet still come on he boards now?

Karen ~ Are you planning on going to WDW for Christmas in 2010? A meet then would be good, but I think I am going to Canada. At least I would be closer though than I am now.
I bet you cannot wait till your break, I hope you have a good few weeks off. It was icy here to this morning. Our garden and fields were covered with ice, but still now snow.

RRBB ~ Hello, I don't think we have met yet . Happy Birthday to your little boy, he is gorgeous. I love the photo's, especially the one in the suitcase.

geffric ~ It sounds pretty cold where you are, have you had any snow yet?


Well I'm just finishing up wrapping my presents. I don't have half as many this year but it has taken me forever. I watched my Christmas film, Twister, as I was doing it, makes me so excited for our holiday next year . Not long now and I can say this year instead. Anyway I hope everyone has a nice evening, I've just got to finish the wrapping then think I may watch a film.

Ariel Yes we are planning a trip for Christmas 2010/11 trip to WDW with our best friends. I can't believe the last time we were there would have been 5 years previous by then. I think we will have a 2 bedroomed at the BCV again as that is where our friends own DVC. I love it there so that would be my choice anyway!! I love Christmas at WDW, the extended Illuminations are amazing, they always make my cry!!

Karen ~ I would love to spend Christmas at WDW one year, the decorations and parades and shows all look amazing. I have been to DLP for NYE and it was great. The christmas decorations were so beautful and the parade was so good. I haven't stayed at the Beach Club but have stayed in the Yacht Club and loved it. I loved the location, its so handy, and the pool was the best. Oh and The Yachtsman is so good.

DH refers to the Yachtsmans Steakhouse as 'our WDW local' We eat there at least 2 times on our trip as we love it, it is our our arrival night restaurant for a starter, wine and desert. The somaliers there also serve at the wine bar next door. Last time we went we had eaten at the yachtsmans 2 times and then one evening decided to call in to the wine bar for a drink one evening after being in the parks. The somalier greeted us by name and asked if we would like the wine we had drank 2 days previous!! Seriously how did he remember our names and what wine we had drank with our meal 2 days before hand!! We got the recipe for the Filet Mignion from there (you can get any WDW recipe from city hall) and Pete cooks that whenever friends come for dinner!!
Oh and WDW at Christmas is amazing, eating at California Grill on Christmas eve then watching the fireworks from the viewing platform there, then being in the park on the stroke on Christmas eve after seeing a parade really made me cry like a baby!! I just wish DLRP did more fireworks, the Disneyland Park there is my favourite out of the 8 Disney parks that I have been to.

The fireworks they did on Halloween were amazing, so, so good. By far the best fireworks I have seen at DLRP, much better than the NYE ones we waited for 45 minutes on a packed Main Street in the freezing cold.

I really want to go to the Yachtsman twice but Nick wasn't overly thrilled by it (he didn't have steak stupidly). For me everything was perfect, the bread, the starter, the main, the dessert, the service, I loved it. The again we still have so many other restaurants to try.

Well....funny you should ask....RRBB & OhanaFamily were on that adventure. Ian, was on the trip to, but riding around inside mom! None of the other folks still post (haven't seen most of them anywhere on the DIS).

I have been super busy with work and we have a contractor remodeling our bathrooms now. Our bathrooms were circa 1962 - so it was time for an update.

RRBB ~ Those pictures are so cute. I love the blocks showing his age each time, that is such a great idea. And the picture with his sister on the bench is just so cute.

ariel2007 - SLO and I live in then same chi area although she is about an hour from me..

to answer your TAG meet questions - the remaining members of the meet in October was ibounce, RRBB, Ohanafamily ( and IAN as an inside baby)and NCBs ( think) I called on the phone and chatted with everyone and called CMOM.

During the rest of the time, I have meet ibounce a few times, SLO twice at chicago meets, and RRBB , OF and family at WDW in October 2007. The meet in CA this past summer was RRBB, OF, sophia, Ian and DanaUK and all of the spouses. We called NCB . ibounce wasn't able to meet us although she is only a few hours away from DL.

Anyway, we are having a heat wave here. It is supposed to go up to 40s and maybe 50s this weekend before we go back into the deep freeze.

Geoff is off to a democratic breakfast for the volunteers and then to participate as OA and sell pizza at the boy scout First Aid meet. DH is already at the first ais meet and eric is sleeping. Later Geoff and some of the scouts will go sell placemat ads for the boy scout pancake breakfast. Eric is going to a study group for the US History test on Monday and then to his girlfriends. Sunday he has band practice and Tuesday he has a concert from the high school band.

I am cleaning and laundrying today and tonight DH and I are going to dinner with a friend of mine and her DH. We are going for chinese.. YUMMY!!!
