Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Ian. I'll pass them on to him in the morning, on the first of his 364 un-birthdays until his next birthday.

Well today I finally got the rest of my christmas shopping done. I'm happy it is all done now, I felt so unorganised this year!! So I guess tomorrow is wrapping day. But I did treat myself to some new pyjamas from the Disney store and a couple of new tops to wear over the christmas season when going to visit the families!!
I'm feeling quite Christmassy at the moment as it has just started to snow and the garden looks really pretty.

Hi all!!!

Just a quick post this morning, because I have to get ready for my day. We are going out to breakfast, going to the NW Indiana Visitor Center to see The Christmas Story display (the movie was made in this area), and then finishing out Christmas shopping. Then when we come home, we are baking some cookies, and then watching The Polar Express if time permits.


I've been busy at work, and got to work by 7am yesterday. I was able to get 1/2 the work done, but the other 1/2 has to wait due to defective materials

Thank you for posting those pictures - he's such a handsome young man!!! Sophia is beautiful also - she's growing so fast!!!! Where does the time go!!!! Tell ohanafamily that we said "hi" and for him to come by sometime and visit.

Good morning everyone. We have a busy day. I have to go pick up Ian's birthday cake in a little while. His birthday party is at 12:30. I'm hoping everyone will relax a little afterwards so we can make it to the preschool Hanukkah party at 4:00. (If we do go I won't have to worry about fixing dinner. )

I keep reading how many of you are finished putting up your decorations, buying AND wrapping presents for Christmas. I haven't even wrapped any birthday presents for Ian yet. Good thing he's not so "wrapped up" in all that to realize he hasn't gotten any gifts yet. Since he was born on the 5th day of Hanukkah we may just do his birthday presents then. That will give me until the 26th to figure out what he's getting.

It's supposed to get up to 76 today, practically summer weather. But then a cold blast is coming through later and the high tomorrow is only supposed to be around 40. Brrrrr. I know for some of you that's a heat wave, but down here it's cold.

It's a very very icy world around here
In fact, I'm sitting here with the phone by me, in case the school calls about a delay. My driveway is a pure ice skating rink, so I"m sure the roads are the same way. I'm sure the busses can handle it, but I don't know about all the highschool kids that drive - it'll be interested to see what happens.


That Christmas Story thing we went to was such a disappointment - I was expecting so much more. The girls didn't even want to wait to see Santa - I was so surprised We were there for maybe 20 minutes, and then we went to the mall. I got all the Christmas presents I needed at the mall, and then we came home. I baked my cookies, got a pizza, and then the girls and I watched The Polar Express on super surround sound - I love doing this!!!! It was a very productive and good day!!!!

Well, I'm off to wrap presents this morning.
Even though I'm working more than last year - I"m actually feeling a little more organized than last year - I like that!!!!! I want everything wrapped and done, so I'm not stressing to much when it gets close to Christmas Eve.

Hi guys. I am back. It has been a long 10 days but gald to be home. I am soooooo behind on everything. Anyone want to share news so I don't have to go back and read???? You've been chatty and I am glad to see it.

The service was beautiful. My sisters have such great friends. They took care of everything.

My hubby and Lauren put up the tree for us so I wouldn't have to do it when I got home. So now all I have to do is do a few more touches and I am done decorating. However, I have a ton of shopping to do.

That's all I can say right now, because it's only 6 degrees!!!!!


The ice around here is just crazy!!!!!
I have so much ice in front of my store door, that I'm nervous about anyone walking on it. The landscape people put down salt, and I put down salt, but nothing will penetrate it - weird!!!!! Than, poor Kevin, had a terrible commute yesterday - it took him 2 1/2 hours to get to work That's how long it takes us to get to Indianapolis This time of year, with type of weather, just sucks for him


Last night was the FD family Christmas party - it was great seeing everyone!!!. I love so many of the wives there, and I wish I could see them more. But with work, kids, life, we never get a chance to get together except for these type of events.


At work, this is the calm before the storm. I say that, because right now I have nothing to do, because I'm waiting for all my materials tomorrow and Thursday. At that time, I will have mountains to get done - especially 3 jersey's and now a shirt from Africa (which is pretty cool). This is going to be approx. a 57 hour work week for me As much as I love the business, and hope for more, I'm looking forward to Christmas so I can have a rest

Morning Taglikins! Tonight is our department holiday party and gift exchange. We do the kind where you draw numbers and can steal gifts! I feel I've done a good job if the gift I brought gets stolen at least once. This year it's a bottle of Banfi Rosa Regale and Dove dark chocolates. I think there will be a couple of folks interested in that! As a matter of fact, I may try to get if for myself!

FIL starts chemo/experimental drug study tomorrow. He seems to be having more tired days----a lot of holiday things that he does not want to miss out.

Saturday, NC Beast put our tree out (from the back room---left it decorated last year). I have to hide his most requested gift that arrived today.

We had some nice warm days this week in the 60s---today...it is dropping to the 40s.

Evening all!!

Well I am sure glad we only have a few days left and then get 2 weeks off for Christmas. Tomorrow we have 2 Christingle services to do with the whole school (from ages 4 - 11). We had a practice today and it seemed to go quite well. We sing a few Christmas hymns and songs, read some bible stories and light christingles that the children have made (well the older ones get to do that bit.) Then we have end of year tallent show heats to do before the finals on Friday.

NCBelle I hope your FIL's treatment goes well.

Slo How much time will you get off work over Christmas?

Sorry i've been MIA. I just took my last final! I have a few things to send in to teachers and then i'm done! I can't believe it!

Ariel - Don't think i've forgotten about you! I can't get the name of the condos till this weekend; my stepmom knows what they're called but she's actually in Whistler right now skiing! (darn her) so I have to wait for her to get back

Danauk - Not much time at all I do have my college employee coming home, but with still not having a ton of business I can't afford for her to work that much, so I need to be there. I wish I had more money, because she would be willing to work almost everyday, and I would be thrilled to have some time off Oh well, maybe next year I bet you are looking forward to your break!!!

Tagliarcy History:

We did have a Tag DISmeet way back in October of 04. There were nine of us at WDW....some with family...others of us just coming on down to play at WDW and meet our on line pals. Three of the moms left their families at home and shared a room together. It was great fun!

I forgot about that. Who was there? TINKBACKWARDS? THE OHANA'S. RICKinNYC?? I can't remember!!

to answer your TAG meet questions - the remaining members of the meet in October was ibounce, RRBB, Ohanafamily ( and IAN as an inside baby)and NCBs ( think) I called on the phone and chatted with everyone and called CMOM.
