We got home at 1:30am after leaving Orlando at around 2pm (we did a timeshare presentation at Sheraton Visitana that went beyond 90 minutes). We had a great time and I finally cave-in to get an AP.

NC Beast's Dad's cancer has spread to the spine so his folks had to postpone their cruise until maybe next May. NC Beast's Dad has started his radition treatment and hopefully the pain will ease soon (10 treatment sessions are needed--2 of the treatments were done during the week). We plan to be up there soon in the next month or so to spend some time around the holidays. FIL/MIL have been visiting their OC, MD beach condo and various friends/relatives so we are trying to co-ordinate the schedules for our next visit.

how was the Vistana presentation??? We did a whole lot of presentations before we bought DVC.. are you thinking about that???

I prefer the DVC to Sheraton's pitches. The Sheraton is pushing the Sheraton Vistana Villages near US/IOA. We were just curious and won't be buying a timeshare for awhile. We just wanted to see the models that was suppose to be similiar at the Vistana for its rehab and to get $75, breakfast (which turned into lunch)...plus a certificate for 50% for up to 5 nights at a Starwood hotel/condo. They were too pushy about applying for their credit card. We said no to the main salesperson, her supervisor, and the exit survey guy. NC Beast had to hold back laughing when the supervisor told us we won't be qualify to go through another Sheraton presentation for a year...and I said to the supervisor---"Good. I won't be ready to go through this again for at least a year."

We were going to do the DVC tour to see the latest models, but ran of time. They were offering $30 in g.c. or a vip fast pass.

I'm trying to download some pictures and edit a couple. I had some great shots of the male lion from the safari, but I need to make it DIS approved.

Belle, welcome back. I am so sorry to hear about your FIL. Howis Beast doing?? He has a very tough road ahead of him.

Less than two weeks before we leave for our cruise. Ugh. Gotta make that stupid long drive again. On the way back we will stop and see the kids again. So we are really getting to spend sometime with them this semester. Tom also has an ROTC dining out in December so we will be back for that too!

NC B. is doing okay. He talked to his folks last night. FIL was to have #6 radiation today. FIL's cancer has spread to the chest which may need to have a chemo. therapy series. He is still in good spirits and now has one of the top urologist managing his care (they changed doctors back in April when his former doctor did not notice the cancer that may have present for 2 years).


I may have pictures up soon. Last night, NC B. was editing some to send to his folks.
