BTW, after he passed away I took out the toys and the kitten immediately claimed the basket for a bed. I think she liked that his scent was still there.

My cat won't play with any toys I buy him so I just gave up! He just wants hair bands or the caps to milk cartons what a weirdo! I bought him this toy one time, it was like a ball on a spring that he could bat at and all he did was meow at it. Seriously, three AM I wake up to him talking to this toy. Haha

Yep, Acoma wasn't interest in any store bought kitten item either. But my Mickey pen with the fuzzy purple feather...THAT was a whole different story. She also loved to lay on the rug in the kitchen that I would then grab by the corner and spin her around the room. Yep, Acoma wasn't interest in any store bought kitten item either. But my Mickey pen with the fuzzy purple feather...THAT was a whole different story. Well today I have been getting the car ready for the drive to Disneyland Paris, I can't believe I am going on my 3rd Disney trip this year next week (and doing my single digit dance for my 4th trip whilst I am there!!)

...I'M BACK!!!!!

We have returned from our three days at Disneyland, visit to Hollywood, day at the beach in Santa Monica, and trip to Northern Arizona.

It was a very good trip.

I would say an early highlight was our Sunday night dinner at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in downtown Disney. It had a much shorter wait the night we drove into town than the Pizza place or the Mexican food joint (Usually not a good sign).

They said the wait was 20 minutes... but I would be surprised if we waited more than 10 minutes.

It was the best food I have had in years. I am not a seafood eater... and there several choices for me. I ended up with:
Panéed Chicken Bercy
Pan-fried Parmesan and herb breaded chicken breast, topped with artichoke hearts, portobello mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes. Served with andouille grits and a roasted shallot white wine sauce

It was WONDERFUL. I would highly recommend the place.

Great dinner - Lots of wine - I'm an Italian wine fan.
The garb - bright red Ben Sherman jeans - gold and black shirt - black velvet dinner jacket. I go for foppish these days.
And I'm way into English designers these days - Ben Sherman, Ted Baker, David Bitton, Robert Graham.

Hey hows Madge's divorce playing over there? -
She was playing Boston the day it was announced.

Well off to the gym.

Have a blast in Paris - I want to go some day - at least to get to try they're space mountain.

I had such a fun night last night. Not only did my BFF come over with her DD, but my neighbor came over with their girls - it was ansolutly great evening with alot of laughs, and alot of food (I had a stomachache when it was all over). We were outside until 11:30pm

Today, we are going out to breakfast, taking the girls to the local pumpkin patch, and then tonight we are going to my mom's for pizza and birthday cake So my birthday just keeps on comin

Jazz Kitchen is one of my favorites. I also enjoy having lunch on their patio. Did you get the Banana's Foster for dessert....OMG YUMMY!

My very favorite sparkling wine is Banfi (I'm SURE I've mentioned this before) Rosa Regale. FABULOUS with dessert, especially with chocolate and fruit! Just combine those...choclate dipped strawberries...perfect.

Doll - we did do the mutual admiration society meeting of Rosa regale!
we had a different bottle of Brachetto last night - Rosa is a brachetto as well.
Lot of Champaign and some Amarone with dinner.

We've always seen the place but never got a chance to try it! My mom loves the beignets next door. I'll make sure to eat there next time

ibouncetoo - We did not get dessert at the Jazz Kitchen. The girls had been promised ice cream.

I do like Bananas Foster. I have not had it in years. My dad use to make it and it always makes me think about him.

He was really a wonderful man. I remember one time during my teen years I was listening to my stereo and there was a knock at my door. Annoyed I barked 'What.' Nobody answered. There was a knock again. I said 'What is it.' No answer but another knock.

Totally annoyed I huffed and puffed out of my bed to the door. When I opened the door I saw my dad rounding the corner leaving. On the floor in front of my door was a bowl containing flaming cherries jubliee.

I had such a nice weekend!!!!!
Yesterday was such a nice day. We went out to breakfast, and then went to the local pumpkin patch, where I took some nice pictures of the girls Then we went to my mom's for dinner, which was my favorite pizza and birthday cake We shared some good laughs, and it was just an overall great night!!!!!



I can't believe we are leaving at the end of this week - thank goodness!!!!
Even though this weekend has been good, it's also been very weird, with weird things happening. Kevin finally asked me if we are living in the Twighlight Zone - so this weekend can't come fast enough!!!



Well, I must go work off all this pizza and cake that I ate yesterday.

It is hard to believe! October went by really quickly. I have only two more weekends before the cruise. This weekend is shot since I am going to see the kids in Gainesville. Lots to do in so little time.

BB would love to see a few pics of your trip!

Well I am glad I only have 3 more days left before my week off. I have so much work to do but I am determined to get everything done by the time I go to bed on Friday. There is no way I am taking work with me to DLRP!!
