NC B.'s dad's tests came in---psa level went back up from 2.0 (normal would be a 0) to over 4.5. In April whn he was first diagnosed it was a 6.7. The rise in numbers and extreme pain in his bones indicates tumors are growing. Radition is being recommended and Friday am is appointment for assesment. FIL is still hoping to be able to go to Europe/Med. cruise next week even though treatment takes 10-14 days. The in-laws have been through a lot the past month with another close friend being diagnosed (same type of brain cancer as Sen Kennedy) plus several other buddies with severe illnesses.

So sorry to hear that. I hope your FIL will still be able to enjoy his trip, he definately deserves it. Your family is in my prayers

NCBelle I hope you FIL is doing well.

Well this may shock you to hear (those that have known me for a few years) I am really inspired by school at the moment (even though we are still waiting for the latest inspection phone call any day now, we though we would have had it by now!) We have decided to re do the way we teach totally, topic teaching is now in (we were going this 15 years ago!!) So yesterday we had a meeting to decide on the whole school plan and I am really inspired by what we are doing. It is going to be so much better!! Today I handed 3 forms in for field trips for my class!! One to the seaside, one to a Tudor house (the ancestoral home of George Washington) and the other to a castle. For the 1st time in about 4 years I am actually looking forward to work! All we need now is for us to get through the next inspection and for the pressure to be off us and for me to get on with my job!! One of my topic is improving the school grounds so we are going to do some gardening, design and make flower beds, grow plants and veg etc. The kids are going to have a great time!!

Hooray, it's finally Saturday!!!!!
This was the slowest week ever!!!!!
I wonder how this week is going to be with us leaving in 7 days It'll be either super fast and stress me out, because I have so much to do before we go. Or it'll be super slow and bum me out, because I really want to leave for vacation. It'll be interesting in how it turns out


Thanks to those that commented on my little Sophie - she really is darling!!!
I'm going to really miss her when we're gone. I'm just hoping and praying that she's as good for my mom, as she is for me, because if she's not, then my mom may not ever do this again. I know my mom's afraid about her not eating, because she'll be sad to be away from me. Sophie and I go almost everywhere together, and I baby her ALOT, so that's why my mom's nervous. Hopefully she'll adjusts to my mom's easily {{fingers crossed}}

Well, I gotta go get ready for work, and I have stuff to do around here.
I really like a clean house before I leave, so all week, I'll be cleaning in my spare time (this isn't easy when I have to work until 7pm everyday ) I like coming home to a super clean house!!!!!

Yep, babies is the term we use too. Faith and Hope have a baby basket that overflows. I love to watch then go to it and rummage through for a special one. My dog Fivel used to lay in his and take a nap! Remember the sceen in ET where he is in the closet with the stuffed toys....looked just like that.

My cat won't play with any toys I buy him so I just gave up! He just wants hair bands or the caps to milk cartons what a weirdo! I bought him this toy one time, it was like a ball on a spring that he could bat at and all he did was meow at it. Seriously, three AM I wake up to him talking to this toy. Haha

BTW, after he passed away I took out the toys and the kitten immediately claimed the basket for a bed. I think she liked that his scent was still there.
