OMGosh - So Tired!!!!!!!!!
Our Furnace and Air Conditioning installation didn't get finished until midnight :faint: The guys started at 9am, and they finished at 10:30pm. They then realized that the hot water tank wouldn't light up, so they had to call someone else to the house, to fix that problem. That was then finished at midnight. Kevin kept telling me to go to bed, but I wanted to stay up and keep him company. We both get up at the same time, so we may as well suffer our tiredness together:)

While the men were working yesterday, I had a very awesome, productive day:banana: I cleaned Katie's room (this took forever, but I threw away 2 bags of garbage, and have a HUGE bag for Goodwill), went through both girls closets (took out small clothes, and moved winter to summer things around), sorted things out in the playroom (it's no wonder why those girls never find anything, they never put things away properly), did several loads of laundry, and other misc things. I was very happy with my day!!!!!!

Well, I gotta run and color my hair - no workout today :sad2:
I'm to tired, and not in the mood, so I'll color my hair instead :teeth:
Have a good day today everyone!!

Good morning, just dropping by quickly before I head off to work. Today is the last day of this term so we get next week off. Whooooo!! Then we have 7 weeks of school until the summer (which will include another 2 day inspection, booooo!)

Have a great day everyone.

I'm up really early this morning {{yawn!!}}
Kevin has to get up early to catch a plane for work, and I got up with him (it's always easier for him to get up and get going, if I"m up too :) ). It's actually a benefit for me to get up this early, because it gets me up earlier to walk, and I'll be able to do 4 miles today:thumbsup2

We had excitement at our house yesterday morning.
Remember how I said those goofballs were at our house until midnight the other night? Well, yesterday when I came in from putting STephanie on the bus, I could smell gas:eek: Obviously I got nervous, and I called Kevin at work. He told me to call the FD guys and have them bring out a meter. Well, you can't just call and ask that, it has to be a huge thing - lights and sirens:eek: I felt so silly - luckily I know them all :) They could smell the gas too ::yes:: and there was a gas leak. Nothing read on their meter, so they said that the gas wasn't enough for it to be dangerous, which was good, because I told them I wasn't in the mood to blow up today:rotfl: So they turned the gas off to the furnace, and then we visited for a couple of minutes and they left (this was at 8am). So, needless to say, the furnace peeps had to come back out last night, but luckily they didn't stay as long as last time, and I guess everything is fixed now:thumbsup2

What is everyone's plans for this Memorial Day weekend?
I'm going to finish my planting, so I'm really excited about that. I bought 2 more flats yesterday, and some vines. Most of the vines are Black--eyed Susan vines and I"m planting them in planters by the pool and hottub. I'm going to lead them up the deck railings so they cover those - it'll look pretty cool (fingers crossed).

Well, I"m off to get ready for my walk
Have a good day today everyone!!!

Well not to give to much away - I'm not certain if they are a SAP partner or considered a competitor of a little of both - these thing get "fuzzy".
We wouldn't see any money for more orders - we just have our fee.
But we do look for a lifts in response.

Yesterday I ended up getting one of my super sugar migraines, and ended up coming home from work at 4pm and laying in bed until 7pm. I then had some cereal for supper, and watched tv until 10pm and then went to bed - not a good Friday night!!!!! :sad2: I ate Frosted Mini Wheats for breakfast, and Kevin definitly believes that that's what did it. The headache did start before 12 noon, and than it got unbelievable worse after I ate my lunch (which was a Lean Cuisene Panini sandwich). I hate having this problem with me, because once the headache starts, there's no stopping it - even pain medications won't help it. It's like having the worse hangover headache after drinking WAY to much:headache: So I guess, I get hungover from sugar :sad1: So annoying!!!!!!!!

Well, I need to get going and get ready for work
I'm not working out today, because I still have a slight headache, and I don't want to push it into another full blown headache and ruin my day:headache: So I guess I will work out tomorrow, even though Sunday is normally my day off from working out - oh well.

On a quick, positive note about me working out....
I've lost an inch around my waste, and approx 6lbs:woohoo: That makes me very excited!!!!

Have a good day today everyone!!!

:grouphug: hope you feel better today..

I did feel better yesterday - thanks!!!! :goodvibes

Today is another super planting day :flower:
I have a flat of impatients, a almost flat of vincas, 9 black eyes susan vines, and some other things. It's going to be a beautiful day here, so I'm excited to be outside :sunny: I hope you all have a good day too

Slo glad you feel better today. I too was hoping to do some gardening this morning, or at least next week seen as I am off work. But guess what the 5 day forcast it? Rain every day. It has been raining here non stop for 10 hours now!! The frogs from my pond are having a great time hopping around my garden!!

Yesterday I did some summer clothes shopping. I sorted out my wardrobe and looked at what I needed for my summer trip. Then I went shopping at a store where my friend works so I got 10% employee friends discount which was nice!! Not that todays weather needs summer clothes!

Well today we have the 'royal visit', i.e. the inlaws are coming for dinner. They will be here in 90 mins. Then we are seeing them tomorrow as well as we are all going to see my nephew. Well, better run the hoover around one last time!

Hello everyone - I am so glad it is a three day weekend.

I can't believe my DD7 only has two more days of first grade left. And the last two days are not really 'school' days. Tuesday is water play day and Wednesday is the end of the year party.

Does anybody know anything about the Core Knowledge curriculum? Our school is starting a magnet program based on The Core Knowledge foundation. They are starting with one class per grade level and we have both girls enrolled. I understand it is more academic that the regular curriculum - but it is also project based. The goal is to better prepare the students for high school.

Most of the stuff on the website is education terms - and it sounds good to me - but I don't know.

Lily's teacher was a looping teacher, so we had (requested her) for both K and 1st grades. She is now going to be the magnet teacher for K - so we are not at all concerned about my youngest next year. We would have placed our youngest with Lily's teacher even if she wasn't the magnet teacher. She is just that good - and I see that she appreciates all of her students' achievements - not just the brightest ones. We are disappointed that she won't be looping with our youngest. We were kind of looking forward to having her 4 years in a row.

I hope everyone has a nice weekend!

A newbie checking in to see what all this fun is about:)

Just a quick hello!

Slo--- I'm not sure if you are doing a food diary---you may want to list your reactions to various sugar/sweeteners/flour and show it to your doctor/dietician. An example, my mom found out that its better for her to split her fruit with my Dad at lunch because it spikes her blood sugar levels. My parents limit their use of white flour and products with it.

It feels good to have another day off today :woohoo:

(I just noticed the smiles have changed:headache: I hate it when they do that:furious: )

I still have more planting to do today :flower:
I ran out of dirt yesterday, and I need to go buy more today. I've already gone through 8 bags of dirt - I can't believe it!!!!! I have 5 more pots to plants, and one hanging pot - then I'm done!!!! :yay:

Yesterday after I did alot of planting, and realized I couldn't plant anymore, I decided to trim all the hedges in the back, which is a lot. The trimming is never alot of work, but the picking up all the trimmings is :faint: I'm really sore now today, because I did alot of bending and squatting yesterday. But it feels so good to know that it's all done!!!!!

Danauk - How was dinner with the inlaws? I hope it was a nice visit.:)

BB - I have never heard of that, and it sounds interesting!! Please keep us posted on how this goes, and what you all think of it.

DisDarling - :welcome:
Please come visit with us anytime - we would love to have you!!!!!:goodvibes

Belle - Yes, I should start doing that ::yes:: I was doing so well until the other day - I was so frustrated!!!!!:headache: I have noticed that certain fruits send me over the edge, and apples are one of them. I can eat strawberries all day long, and they do nothing to me - which is good, because I eat 1-2 cartons of strawberries a week:thumbsup2

Well, I'm off to think about making some breakfast
Have a good day today everyone!!!

I'm baaaaaaaack! Did ya miss me?

The cruise was FABULOUS! Got in late yesterday, and have to meet my cruisemate Cheri in a bit to run the rental car back to Budget, but wanted to check in with the TAGLIKINS.

FIFTEEN DAYS IS STILL NOT L0NG ENOUGH ON THE MAGIC! I could have kept going for a few more. :thumbsup2 I do have a woozy head this morning, so I don't have my land legs back yet.

More to follow.........

on.. We couldn't get Palo for brunch.. :confused3 butr hoping that the other ladies will have room for one more.. if not then.. it will be okay..

Cabo - HArbor Cruise and Scenic drive - 9:45 am
PV Zipping at 2 pm ( just me, Scott is hanging at the movies)
Acapulco - on our own
Cartagena - Old City Walking tour 10:30 am
Aruba - Sea and SEE tour 8 am
CC walking and kayaking tour ( just me, Scott is hanging by a hamock with a cold drink)

I have signed up for the walking and kayaking tour 3 times on 3 different DCL cruises and each time it has been cancelled.. hopefully it will happen this time..

Cheri, I did the Cabo Harbor Cruise and Scenic drive and loved it. Is the PV Zip you are doing the mega one that includes the mule ride and cliff repel? My friend Kathe did that was so proud of herself for undertaking that adventure. Acapulco on your own is a good idea...many of the excrusions (the 'tour of city' type) were a bust. I enjoyed seeing the cliff divers and the folks who just took a taxi and actually had lunch there on their own had a better experience than some of the tours.

ok....gotta hit the shower....more later....

.

Welcome back ibouncetoo I can't wait to hear more about your adventures.

DisDarling - welcome to the thread. I look forward to visiting with you more.

Slo - sorry you are still dealing with the sugar crud. That is not fun.

I hope the visit with the in-laws went well for you DanaUK.
