Escape to Neverland - A new Tagliarchy adventure!!

Home safe and sound from Disneyland. Had a great time and it was wonderful to see friends from my cruise. Got to ride Nemo...it was very cute! Looks like I gained about five pounds! :scared1:

ibouncetoo glad you had fun at Disneyland. I loved Nemo too, very cute. We were relly lucky that we got a magical moment and the manager invited us to ride straight away as an anniversary treat so we walked up the exit and passed the 1 hour line!! I loved how the effects were done under the water, too cute!

Nemo was lots of fun, a longer ride than I expected.:thumbsup2

We got 'dreamed' too! Special Mickey ears...I'll find the picture and come back and post it.

Wally you MUST see the Nemo SHOW in Animal Kingdom. I didn't get to see it when I was there in December and hear it is wonderful.

Sorry the pic is so big. They were passing out ears to everyone entering DCA (and exiting) at the Grand Californian special entrance. We were on our way to Storytellers for lunch!

We did see it - the last time we were there - as a matter of fact we were one of the first audiences to see it.

Just a quick hello this morning :wave2:

We've been having so much rain in the Chicago area, that our town is really getting prepared for flooding. We are worried about our own house as well. We are praying for it to end soon.

Have a good day!!!

Hi everyone!

I finally got around to booking our Oct. Disneyland trip. The 4 day for the price of three hotel deals I am used to getting never happened. Has me a tad worried about crowd levels. Also we are staying at a motel I have never stayed at (due to a deal with Getaway Today).

We will be in the parks Monday-Wednesday - so it shouldn't be too bad - but the hours will be significantly reduced.

Hi everyone, am back from a 3 week visit to CA. Good to be home and not worry about hurricanes from so far away!!

Hope all of you cruisers and vacationers had a great trip. I will check back in a bit to see what I have missed.

ibounce saw your sister on another thread. I told her I would say HI.

Back to routine and need to get ready for school. Plus need to get my computer back up and running. When I was gone, we got a terrible computer virus and my hubby had to clean out the computer. We lost everything, all of my picutres, my whole email account-addresses and all, my itunes etc. ugh. It has been terrible. I can't believe I remembered my password for this account!! Have a good one everyone!

Morning..

SLO - how are you?? did you get water? Did Kevin work all night? IS school closed for you today?? I have been thinking about you everytime they show flooding in Munster or porter county.. Hope things are okay..

we escaped without flooding and so did my brother in Des Plaines.. :woohoo: but many of the roads are flooded..

gotta get to work.. i'll stop by later..

Morning Taglikins!

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Nothing new here to report...

NC Beast's brother and family fared pretty good from Ike---they live in a sw suburb of Houston. BIL had to stay at his job (he's in charge of the food services--executive chef) in one of Houston's hospitals for 42 hours straighten and then he spent hours in lines at the gas station and grocery after that shift. The stores were pretty bared, but they were one of the luckier neighborhoods that did not lose their power for a long time and not much damage.

Jessie had one of her regular physical and has an ear infection in her left ear. She was also put on a diet and needs to limit her treats. Jessie is pretty miserable from the ear and her booster shots. I have to medicate her with an antibiotic ointment that has an ingredient that I'm allergic to and she likes to try rub it off on me. She is a bit perkier today and has to go back to the vet for a follow up appointment this weekend.

I hope that you would consider getting an external back-up drive. We got one Sat. after the computer's surge protector died and the computer was lucky enough to escape damage. We got ours from Tiger Direct for little over $100 (www.tigerdirect.com) ...well worth it to protect our photos and files.

:wizard: I hope that your area fares well. We were lucky from Hanna (our house in on high enough ground from the nearby water, but those who lived some creeks and rivers has issues.

Things have been really crazy in our town.

We have had a lot of flooding and evacuations due to the rain we had. This is Stephanie's 2nd day of having no school, due to the awful conditions in our area. Kevin was up for 36+ hours with the FD evacuating people out of their homes via boat, or whatever they could get to them.

Luckily our house was spared (thank you God), but it was close. The creek by my house was about 10ft from my front door and I was very prepared for it to come into the house. All my photos were moved up stairs, and all of Kevin's collectables were moved from the basement to the upstairs. It was a crazy time!!!!!

Well, I gotta run, have a good day everyone!!!

Slo, glad to hear you were spared from flooding. I've seen a few photos from my home town (Hobart) and they sure had some issues there...especiall the people who lived near Lake George.

Things are going fine here....I'm anxiously awaiting my first shipment of food from BistroMD...should arrive Friday. I ordered the five day plan, which is all three meals with two snacks per day. I'm on my own for the weekends, and my PLAN is to actually do a little cooking for myself on Sunday and Saturday is free for social dining out. :thumbsup2 I have a cruise friend who uses BistroMD and says their food is much better than Nuti-Systems or Dietstogo. Can't wait to try this out!

Morning all.

Great thining BELLE. I am just starting to build my music again. Unfortunatley not going well for the pics. I should have not been lazy and put them all online. ugh.

So glad the floods didn't hit anyone too badly here. Poor Texans and those from LA. You know, we are hoping it goes somehere other than the panhandle but feel quilty when it hits others so hard. Looking forward to the end of hurricane season already.

Good luck with the new food ibounce. I just thik I will starve myself before the cruise! hehe would love to lose 10 pds

off to start the day. I am going to look up how to make a fish extender that does not include sewing. Is that possible??? TTFN

I am so sore today.
I tried Tae Bo for the first time yesterday, and wow, I don't think I will ever do it again. Not only did it prove that I am totally uncoordinated, but it hurt my neck, and my knees. If you ever want to know if you are a coordinated person, put in Tae Bo - it'll tell ya!!!:rotfl:

**Question**
Would any of you like to trade addresses to exchange Christmas cards this year? I would love to do this. If you are interested, send me your address in a PM, and I'll send you mine in reply. :goodvibes

ibounce - I keep forgetting that you are originally from around here.
**Good luck with your new food

cheeringmom - :wave2:

Well, I gotta run and get ready for work
We are leaving early today, because I have to make a frame delivery. I will need to go through Munster in order to go where I'm going, and I'm interested to see everything that is going on in that town.

Have a good day everyone!!!
