So, we were lucky and snagged a Grand Cal HA Studio for 6 nights next summer. While doing so I had left my wife off of the reservation just to get through the process more quickly. We first grabbed 2 nights, then dropped some nights from our VDH stay and then added the next 4 nights to VGC. That all worked fine. We then went back to add my wife and I received the 7 Dwarfs before even being shown the guest list. I also wanted to reallocate some points but when trying to go from the availability screen to the screen where I could select contracts it gives an error message.
So, I called MS and they were able to add my wife with no issue, but he could not reallocate points. He said he could transfer me over to another dept but it would be a 1 or 2 hour wait. We were in Hollywood Studios at the time on the last day of vacation so I opted to not do that. In the end we don't need the point reallocation but I am concerned with the error message.
I don't feel like this is the same as a couple of years ago w/the availability that really didn't exist, but I don't want something to happen in 6 months and have nowhere to stay.
Has anybody else run into an issue like this?
