About 2 weeks ago we made a 2 weeks reservation thru Alamo and got a much better rate than what they are offering now. I did print it out and so I have the information on paper. the problem is now when I go on their site and try to view/change/cancel the reservation, and I put in the name and confirmation number, it comes back as there is an error encountered and I need to call customer service. Anyone else experiencing this? Is it Alamo's site, or are they going to try to say I don't have this reservation even tho I have a printed confirmation? Also wondering- what if I get a better rate down the road and need to cancel it- I still can't access it online....

Give them a call, it could be a problem with their website.
We had a similar problem when we went to cancel and rebook, turns out I was using a discount coupon that was no longer being accepted at MCO.
The rep I talked to when I called in just gave me a generic discount so I could get the new/better rate that had popped up.

You don't happen to be entering the number with the COUNT? I had trouble with Alamo but I was entering too much info, it was just supposed to be the numbers.

I'm not sure what you mean by with the COUNT? It asks for first and last name and confirmation number- that's it. And my confirmation number does have letters in it, but I assumed that was part of it?

My reservation started with the letters COUNT, when I plugged in the reservation with the COUNT I got an error. For some reason I tried it without and it worked.

I had issues bringing up all reservations I had made on Alamo for a June reservation. It told me I could not modify, cancel, or do anything online. Any time a better discount came up, I had to create a brand new reservation. Really annoying, that it wouldn't even let me cancel anything online.

I did end up calling in to cancel the ones I no longer needed, and verified that the one I needed to keep was valid. As a PP mentioned, mine was also because a coupon code I had used was no longer valid for new reservations, but it was fine for the one i already had made. I've read many people have issues with modifying or cancelling on Alamo's site. Call to double check, but you should be fine.
