Error in 2007/2008 BCV Point Chart

I discovered an error in Disney's published BCV point chart for a 1-B/R villa, weekday, during dream season.

For 2004-2006 Vacation Planner charts, it's listed at 28 pts/night.

In the 2007/2008 Vacation Planner's chart, it says 26 pts/night.

I checked with MS and they verified the correct number is 28 pts/night. The published number in the Vacation Planner is a typo and is incorrect.

The Chart on-line at the Member's website is correct (28 pts/night)
Also, the DISboards DVC Chart is also correct (28 pts/night)

Just FYI for everybody.

I suggest members might want to write in the correct number in their books so as to not cause possible confusion later should they be using it to calculate a vacation plan at BCV, 1-B/R during Dream season.


FWIW, I discovered the error when comparing the calculated dates my DVC-Chart, DVC-Planner programs, and DVC-Tracker (still in development) calculate. They are correct and show the 28 pts/night.

Error discovered in 2007-2008 Vacation Planner

Disney Vacation Club has learned that the 2007-2008 Vacation Planner contains an error in the Points Chart for Disney's Beach Club Villas.

The chart lists a one-bedroom Vacation Home Sunday-Thursday during Dream Season at a nightly rate of 26 Vacation Points. The actual Vacation Point value for those nights is 28 Vacation Points.

A corrected chart will be included with the winter edition of Vacation Magic magazine, which begins mailing later this month. The corrected chart also is available now at www.dvcmember.com.
