Ernesto--tomorrow's plane ride..what to do?

So, I'm supposed to be leaving Houston at 7pm tomorrow night for a 10:15 pm arrival. I see that Southwest Airlines has already noted an early closure at West Palm and Ft. Lauderdale, and I'm afraid that Orlando could close early, too. Any locals have advise on what to expect around MCO late tomorrow evening? I'm so tempted to just reschedule, but I REALLY want to come!!!

Are your plans flexible enough that you can take an earlier flight tomorrow?? If so, it might be worth making a call to SW to see what your options are. Good luck!!

Regrettably, no. I've already stretched this puppy as far as I can with regard to vacation and makeup time. I am actually leaving Dallas at 3:30 for the 7pm Houston flight. Maybe there will be more news at the 11pm update with the Hurricane Center. I just hate to pack tonight, expect to travel tomorrow, and then end up stuck in Houston or somewhere else!

I can't offer much more advice other than to tell you to continue to keep a close eye on the news, the National Hurricane website and the SWA website.

Hopefully this storm continues to move east so that it has little effect on Orlando (and the east coast!!). DH and I have family on the west and east coast so whenever there's a hurricane we've always got family members to be concerned about.
