Ergo vs Beco carrier

For those of you familiar with the Ergo and/or Beco carriers, what is the difference between them? Any advantages/disadvantages of either?

I have a two Hotslings pouches, which are great, but I'm looking to get something for when DS weighs more, and something my DH can also use. We do have a Baby Bjorn, but as others have mentioned in other threads, it can be tough to use for a long period of time.

The Beco has a taller body and it is MUCH Prettier!! I beleive the Ergo is a bit less expensive, but with the taller body the Beco can be used for longer.

I would say to continue to use the sling- how old? The sling is a quick in and out- so when you are getting into a ride you can just slip him/her out. The Ergo/Becko you have to undo. I have a patapum and if I have him on my back it takes me a minute to get him off. I used the sling at Disney and it was awesome. Just my two cents worth.

I used my ergo the last time with dd16mths and with the side carry I didn't have to take her out. It did require sitting a little oddly on certain rides ( i think i was in fantasy land- so peter pan, pooh etc) but it was doable. Not great but doable. I am not familiar with the Becko so I can't comment- but if you could use your hotsling instead of the Ergo if you are going in warm weather that might work out well- i was so hot when we were there and using it. My hotsling would have worked well- but she was a bit too heavy for it to be comfortable.
