Ergo baby carrier

I'm considering the Ergo for my dd. I'm really interested in the back carrying option. I'm worried that in September, though, she would be too hot. What do you think? Also, do they all have the option to hip carry or is that a separate Ergo carrier?

Could you tell me where you saw the 90 day money back guarantee? I thought I read about a 30 day return policy.

Also, I was thinking if I get an Ergo, I might buy it at Babycenter b/c it's cheaper and has free shipping, but I don't know if that's the old Ergo or the new, updated one. Anyone know?

Ok, I need to ask - how similar are the Oshkosh snuggli and the Ergo. I thought I had a baby bjorn - it is a Oshkosh snuggli. I was forced to wear it today because my sling went missing. It wasn't as horrible as I remember, but I certainly didn't like it......sigh I thought I had made up my mind. So how similar are the 2? Please tell me there is a world of difference! I'm leaning more toward the baby hawk now, but I just don't know!!

Most of the problems with the Snugli type carriers, is that they suspend kiddos by their crotch area so it is not very supportive of their hips. With the Ergo or mei tai's, their bum is actually lower then their knees. I'm no orthopod or chiropractor, but from everything I have read, it is a more appropriate position for hip development. (I could probably find a link from the babywearer if I get a chance).
The other problem with most of those carriers, is that their is no back support making them uncomfortable for long carries.
Try it out for longer walks and see how it works. Like said earlier, you could get an Ergo, try it out and either return it within the 90 days, or sell it easily on thebabywearer.
