summary:
"Its Kobo reader, powered by Canada's Kobo Inc., in which Borders has an equity stake, will drop to $129.99 from $149.99 and its Aluratek Libre reader will go to $99.99 from $119.99 apiece."

If you're looking for one mainly for library loans Libre would work just fine... for $99. Or with this price war continuing, you never know which other ereaders will follow this price cut.

Of course they are! I just bought mine about 2 months ago!!

This always happens. I wait to jump on the new technology and when I finally do the price drops just after! :dance3:

:lmao:

You're not alone... I did too but I'm having such a great time with my ereader I don't regret my purchase at all.
I already loaded up so many library books for our upcoming trips I'm so giddy! I don't have to worry about where I could schlep 10 books ... in my suitcases or rolly bags or purse? They all fit in my little ole purse!!!!

I still think this is the best electronic purchase I made in the past 5 years :) No regrets...

Oh, you might want to purchase warranty for your ereader in case it breaks (if you haven't yet). Squaretrade has a coupon for 30% off. If it breaks for whatever reason you can take your check to buy a new one... :)
code: WORKER (supposedly works 30% today only and then down to 20% until Sept 7th)

I'm hoping Santa will bring me one for Christmas! This price war should help with "his" budget! :)
