We made it down for a day trip yesterday. DW wasable to do about 10,000 steps before pain set in. Her longest trip without a walker or wheelchair in a long time.

Did you ride Monsters Unchained and what do you think of the Kuka arm motion? My aunt and uncle will be joining us (if they can get tickets) and they detest the motion on Forbidden Journey. I don't think the screens bothered them as much as the tossing. Do you think the motion is milder on Monsters?

I was there on Tuesday. Monsters is not milder than Potter.

Monsters was about 10% extra on motion and 200% on visuals over FJ.

I sort of understand what you meant about motion. Can you please explain what you meant regarding the visuals? Did you mean the visuals were more intense/scarier, more impressive, or something else?

More sophisticated and intense.
Definitely more impressive.

Thanks so much! Sounds like you got a lot accomplished in 6 hours. Still trying to decide if I should make the trip down during previews. Would only have 1 day and would have to leave the park by 4 PM ( so 7-8 hours )

He had no issues with Monsters but said Ministry was far worse for him than FJ as far as motion sickness - he tends to skip FJ - also said since its still in testing that may change etc as they fine tune it.

I'm glad to hear that, DJ! I don't ride Forbidden Journey due to the arm seat leaning backwards and jerking me around. If it is only about 10% then I will give it a try. I don't want to miss the Monsters land. Thanks
