Anyone planning on meeting up during the festivities?

I am planning on going either Oct. 17-19 or the 22 - 24 (Sat.-Mon.). I have never been to the F & W and am dying to go. I don't really drink but would love to try new foods. My kids can't miss that day of school and they really wouldn't be interested, so I will be going solo!

BTW, I grew up in Hollywood, FL. I lived there until I was 25 and was just there for 2 weeks in July (my mom still lives there).

My hubbie and I went to Food and Wine festival in late October last year. It was awesome. School is in session so there were very few children in the park, mostly stroller age.

We walked to each country and sampled delicious food and drink. The portions (and prices) were small so you don't get too filled up. Plus the October weather in Florida was perfect.

My DH and I will be there Sept 24th until Oct 7th celebrating DH birthday and our 1st Wedding Anniversary. Looking forward to the F&W again. Really enjoyed it last year. We had a pre-wedding gathering with family and friends and drank around the world. It was so much fun.
If anyone is going to be there during our dates and wants to organise a meet let me know would love to meet some fellow disers.
