Hello all,

We will be going down to Disney the last week of June and First week of July 2006. I have planned two full days at Epcot because last year when we went I only scheduled one and we missed so much stuff. My question to all of you is what is the best way to tackle Epcot center? I had thought about one day in Future world and one day in World showcase. How would that be?

Thanks for any help and advice you can give me.

Hi Frances,

I would suggest you pick upa copy of the "Unofficial Guide to WDW" or some other WDW guidebook that gives you ideas for a one day or two day touring plan.

Unfortunately you are going at one of the busiest times of the year, so you will need to take that into account when trying to figure out how much ground you can cover in a day.

Good luck!

My opinion would be to arrive at rope drop (9:00AM) and enjoy Future World in the morning. Go early to the popular rides and enjoy Innoventions and shopping. World Showcase opens at 11:00AM so enjoy all it has to offer (rides, movies, shows, shopping, dining, etc. ) in the afternoon and into the evening. Return to a favorite ride or two before leaving.

Have a wonderful vacation. We'll be waiting for you.

We have been visiting WDW in early June for the past 4 years and have yet to accomplish everything we want to in Epcot. I always schedule us for two days -- one in FW and one in WS -- just like your plan. We usually get to see everything we want to in FW but we have yet to really visit all the countries in WS. Of course having three kids might have something to do with that :flower: The two older girls really enjoy making the masks that are available at the Kidcot Fun Stops and that tends to slow us down.

both days, get there early and run to Soarin' if you haven't been on it. It's a great ride for everyone. By the afternoon, the wait on Dec. 20 was 200 minutes. If you like it, get a FastPass to return. Then go to the other attractions in Future World. By the time the park is closing, there won't be lines at some of the older attractions like SpaceShip Earth and Universe of Energy.

another thing to consider is that it will be hot there and you may want to return to your hotel for a swim break or a nap.

Thank you for all your advice. The only things we really did last year was the Living Seas, Spaceship Earth and Test Track. The only thing we saw in World showcase was just walking around and Illuminations.

I really want to see The Land this year and focus some more on the countries. My son wants to do the mask this time.
